  • Got mine yesterday, pretty good so far. Yet to try the mopping function.

    • This isn't Nate is it? Still haven't got mine, when did you order it?

  • Is this the correct review for this model - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYiWrjewLbw

    • I think so yes

  • I didn’t know about this post and its free shipping code until after I made the purchase on the Panmi website.

    I selected Toll ($25.24).

Just received the tracking via email and it’s an Aus Post tracking code for a parcel service, which is the cheapest delivery option at $6.28.

C’mon… paid for the most expensive option yet been given the cheapest. Wtf.

Sent Panmi an e-mail so hopefully this gets cleared up.

    • Regardless of what you choose, they seem to be sending via AusPost. Or rather just putting the label in AusPost system - AusPost don't even have the parcel been 5 business days already.

Anyone had theres ship yet? unfortunately i got landed with couriers please tracking number not showing anything.

    • I'm the same - Couriers Please, and tracking details show nothing on the page. Ordered 24/10, shipped 25/10.

I'm not surprised, CP has been horrendous for me, took over a month for my last item to be delivered.

  • Do we have a rep from the store here? When are they shipping and why use Australia Post when other postage service was selected?

  • Ordered it on 24/10 and it arrived via auspost on 29/10 (metro Sydney)

Vacuuming is good, mapping worked well. Can't seem to figure out how to mop particular rooms >1 as it ends up just cleaning whole house if I select 2 or more

Mop functioned turned out to not work so well. Water was not leaving from the tank into the bottom part so eventually it would become dry.

Will try some basic debugging and have emailed panmi, but as per @cirrus123 and YouTube comments seems like it's a faulty container

      Adding to previous
Got a replacement tank from panmi and it works very well
Once it had a bug where water in tank but not dispersing and then realised had to fill tank all the way to maximum

      Overall would recommend

Found that putting a bedsheets over chairs stops it trying to clean under them and bumping into the legs because some of mine are odd sized

  • I bought this unit in July via the pc byte deal. It died within 2 months, it wouldn’t charge any more. Pc byte had a look (after arguing with them re them needing to cover return shipping) and it’s a major fault. They’re refunding me now.

After reading posts here, I can see why this is so cheap… buyer beware.

My roborock S5 is still working (except for mopping which seems to make the vacuum get confused and go in circles) so I’ve switched back to that but it’s on its last legs. I guess I’ll just wait for a deal on the S7.

    • Can you elaborate on the "major fault"? Any additional details?

      Sounds worrying if true…

I mean, they are still selling it? https://www.pcbyte.com.au/p/viomi-alpha-uv-s9-automatic-dirt…

      • It stopped going back to the dock and charging any more. Said there was a charging error. I tried resetting it, cleaning the contacts, etc.

Pc byte told me it’s out of stock. So I guess they lied to me. Great.

Home Assistant users, anyone else successfully integrated yet? Likely will need a custom integration, but not sure which one…

I'm tempted to cancel my order if this doesn't actually ship soon

    • +1

im in the same train of thought.

  • It seems that this deal is a 'Group' buying deal and need to wait for enough people to purchase before they will deliver??

  • Finally got the dispatch email from Courier Please. Looking like I'll be receiving it on 11th November (located in Perth).

    • what date did you put your order in? mine was 6 days ago. A tracking number was provided however the couriers please tracking link doesn't work.

      • I placed the order on the 24th, received tracking on the 25th but the tracking only seems to work today.

        • Yup same here - hopefully the 11th is accurate!

          • @The Hobo: Just got an email from CP saying that due to high volumes, the delivery date could be up to 5 days after the estimated date on their tracker.

            They are hopeless

  • Order placed 29/10, just got notification that I was refunded :( I guess too good to be true

    • Must have ran out of stock?
      Order placed: 24/10
      Delivered: 01/11

      • Customer support just replied to me and said that apparently my order was classed as "Medium Risk" because I did not leave my email and only phone number - I replied that if my email was required that perhaps it should have been collected at time of purchase. Anyway after reading about some of the mapping issues I may have dodged a bullet, I have a roborock that my gf is impressed with and I ordered this for her but don't want her thinking I got her a dud!

        • Fair, I was concerned about the comments. I came from a roborock and so far so good, no mapping issues. At least you saved some money?

  • Price has increased to $569 now unfortunately, looks as though they are matching / increasing for the Aldi Sale next Wednesday.

  • Finally tracking moved - should be here in a day or two

i contacted the seller and as i thought my package hasn't even left the warehouse yet due to couriers please not picking it up. God i hate Couriers Please.

  • +1

Placed an order on the 25th and chose Aus Post delivery.
Received a confirmation email on the 27th with a Couriers please tracking number which is still not working.
Panmi support are unable to tell me if the order has been shipped.
Last email from them says to wait till the 12th and if there is still no update they will ship out a new unit :s

    • Mine took almost 10 days to show up on Couriers Please - the expected delivery date is today, but I've also had two notices from CP saying there are delays of up to 5 days.

It's a CP issue, they've always been hopeless

  • Anyone else having troubles setting up virtual walls and restricted zones? I'm getting error messages saying cannot place them over machine or charging stations even though it's nowhere near them.

Got this machine yesterday. First impressions: does a good job vacuuming when works. But seems to be caught too easily on things. Should work better once optimised with some no-go zones set up but having some trouble doing this

Mine is finally out for delivery today! They're just waiting for me to leave the house to do school pickup so they can attempt delivery
