Wonder if the white ones will come up for sale too!

  • I have this ram 16gb. X570 aorus master, 5800x CPU, 1080ti strix but will upgrade when stupid GPU prices come down.
Should I get another 16gb of this ram. Someone convince me.

This will be the last upgrade for your am4 platform

@mckayver I would say don't unless you really need 32GB .. 16GB is sweet spot for everything gaming and general tasks.. resist!!! Save the money towards GPU!!!

      • Yeah I have never used more than a around 12gb or ram. The only reason I would buy more is future proofing but I'll up be upgrading in 2 years anyways to am5 platform when that's not ridiculously expensive because we all know it's going to be. Next year will get AMD 6800XT GPU. I know that 32gb won't make any difference in performance atm so still on the fence.

I got the white non-RGB version of this on my steam box, pretty reliable memory.

  • It a pair of AMD recommended ram.

    OC's very well.

N.B. I've not pushed mine this hard, yet.

I've had issues achieving rated timings on so many different kits from other companies in the past.

Crucial knocks it out of the park. I have a 3000Mhz C15 kit that auto-oced to 3600Mhz C16 without a single crash or error to this day. I've never owned a pc setup so stable before, it's just beautiful.

Would even jump at the chance to upgrade aesthetics to the white RGB kit if it goes on sale too.
