Favourite mobile game to play on and off?

What are people’s favorite mobile game to pass the time or just to play on and off? Been recently getting back to playing some Hearthstone on my daily commute and was just interested on what everyone else is playing atm?

Fallout Shelter lol, put in over 100hrs on it on Switch. Then I started a new game on mobile less than a year later.

    • It gets boring after you perfect your vault design. Besides the grind of maxing out your settlers, then breeding them whichever way you like.

Still play jetpack joyride all these years later

Back when Windows Mobile was a thing there was a game called Skulls of the Shogun which was addictive.

These days I just play PUBG mobile.

This thread made me look into whether there is a Tetris Attack port for android and I found one called Flipon which I might check out. If it's anything like Tetris Attack then good luck to me cos I'll be playing it 24/7.

Surprised no one has said Genshin Impact considering all the deals that get posted and that it was iOS game of the year last year. I guess everyone that plays is just hopelessly addicted so it can't be considered on and off haha…

    • I was scrolling through the comments to look for Genshin Impact and I'm honestly very surprised no one (other than yourself) has said this Genshin. Must be a PC/PS4 platform favourite instead.

    • Alot of people are turned off by gatcha games. It's the best one, but it still is one.

    Traffix

  • The game I played for years on my commute (who does that now?) Was Boom Beach. It was perfect because you could probably do all the daily challenges in 30 minutes. Then on the way home you can explore other games!

Stardew Valley, a the little farming game with great reviews. It's free with that Google Play gaming trial, and very addictive.

Got it on PC a few months ago, played it for a couple months solid, very addictive. It's probably the only game I would ever consider getting on mobile if I had a public transport commute to work.

    • What made you stop playing?

Mekorama. The sound, graphics, puzzles are all great.

  • Clone evolution - Collecting heros game.

  • Fate/Grand Order

  • Call of duty is actually amazing for a mobile game
    C.A.T.S is addictive…
Roblox is also strangely addictive, I played some natural disaster map for an hour the other day.

  • Wow no one has said League of Legends: Wild Rift yet

    • They were too slow to get on mobile. Everyone is on mobile legends.

      Bang bang yo

  • I bring my A game to the public transport for teh ladiez every once in a while. It's a shame though, they always seem to bring their S game, and I lose every single time…

  • Old School Runescape. But I still carry and prefer my 3DS over mobile games.

  • Mobile legends, Pokemon go and call of duty.

  • Pokemon TCG Online. Not officially a mobile game so have to download the apk from an external source. Such a great game though. They are releasing Pokemon TCG Live later this year which will be for mobile devices :)

  • Elder Scrolls Blades.
    Fallout Shelter

Awesome games and free to play.

  • Mobile legends
    Brawl stars

Clash Royale for about 4 years now. Leader of the clan, top 1,000. Now, I just exclusively play it. So good!

  • Brawl stars… spend a bit too much money on it..

Flow free - simple puzzle games, you basically just connect the dots. Can get very difficult but you get free hints by watching and add, but if you need you can google the answer.

Bloons TD 6 - a classic that is worth every penny

2048 - a fun but repetitive game, I probably only play it once a month but keep it installed

Swipe Brick Breaker - same deal as 2048 but a completely different game. Each round you can +1 ball, you have to aim that ball at an increasing number of bricks and not let them reach you

8 Ball Pool - if you like pool games, this is probably the best. A lot of smurfs and the game is moderately difficult, so don't expect to get good in a week.

Plague Inc - if you don't understand the current pandemic go play that game lol. But seriously, another classic that I think everyone should play

Cooking fever - a cooking game based on how many orders you can make in a time limit, the further you progress, the more machines, ingredients and faults there are. Very fast paced and hectic game but still super fun.

  • To play on commute? Nothing beats Pokémon Go.

  • Shattered Pixel Dungeon
    Polytopia
    Mini Metro
    TavernRumble

I previously sunk loads of time into Gems of War - a highly complex match 3 RPG style game.

  • Ragnarok M: Eternal Love
    Clash Royale
    Asphalt
    Monument Valley
    PubG
    COD Mobile

  • Honkai Impact - rpg game that can be short or long depending on how you want to play it

  • Water sort puzzle

    Slither.io

Antiyoy. Simple turn based stratagy. Free and no adverts. Campaign, skirmish, user levels and level editor. Pick up and put down whenever.

  • Kwazy cupcakes

  • Ludo King, Lately - such a great family game

  • Pokemon Go and Genshin Impact, both are incredibly fun with a lot of content, unnecessary to spend too

Doorkickers. controls are a bit cluncky, but great game.

Bad banker is a really good puzzle game, it's the only mobile game I've bothered to play in the last few years

I heard grindr is meant to be fun

  • Brawlhalla - has been highly addictive for me

  • I enjoy playing Tinder on -& off, it's fun 👌

  • Cashback troopers because they pay you a few cents to play their game

  • Cat Quest, The Grand Mafia, Brain Test 1 & 2, Genshin Impact, Crystalline.

  • Thanks for this thread, I needed some new games to play.

Want to play a hand of Gwent?

  • Sid Meier's Pirates!

I used to play on everything (from Atari STE through PSP, Xbox and iOS up until they didn't update it for iOS anymore. I wish there was a current clone of it. Something like Pharaoh for iPad would be great.

Ikariam browser based game for years

  • Diablo immortal

I find it funny how this all started as "do you not have phones?" and… I have a phone but can't play it. Admittedly it is a mid(-low?) end phone (Oppo A52), but I'm not sure if there is any technical reason for it's inability to play it.

  • Really Bad Chess

  • wild rift

  • cut the rope

  • Fire Emblem Heroes, League of Legends TFT

  • Words with friends 2
Also Dust (a free post apocalypse game, kind of like a basic fallout) had me addicted for months recently.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. Its available on every major platform including mobile. For me, the greatest mobile game of all time.

  • Changed a few over years…

    Candy crush/Soda saga

Then idle miner and some online free poker

Lately wormate.io is a bit of fun.. modern snake really.

Literally nothing. I detest mobile games - there's no need to "waste" time.

If I have to wait, and only have my phone on me, I'd rather read a magazine or a book on the phone than play some gacha game that's designed to be addictive with microtransactions and other shit.

Besides, touch controls are the absolute worst.

  • Clash of Clans.

    Or Pokemon Go

  • i used to be really into candy crush saga but i refused to pay for powerups so i would just spin the daily prize wheel and collect the calendar bonus for weeks on end without playing the game so i had hundreds of powerups stored

then i got started on hero rescue which is a "pull the pin" puzzle game like the ads for hero wars but it's the actual game this time

  • More Clash royale because I'm a female Asian 🙄, cod mobile some times, or random PS1 games on Android.

  • Lichess

  • Gunbound

  • Universal Paperclips
