It's a good screen but definitely too expensive.

Agree. For this item $500 is the ozbargain psychological price barrier.

  • Read this as $352 in my emails and almost had a heart attack

  • No deal is its >$499

Go order from Dell Ebay for screens <$499

    • Dell is slow especially with the promotion, after one week I placed my order it is still not dispatched yet, now the estimated delivery time is 25th Nov - 1st Dec.

Not for me from the outlet…ordered S2721DGF on 22nd got it on the 26th

Better buying the Dell S3422DWG at this price.

    • you get that for $500?

      • $549.

It's worth the extra, significantly better monitor than this one.

        • Where can you get that deal? Or are you talking about an expired deal?

edit: DW. I am dumb and have found it.
edit2: actually I found a different model. The deal for 'g' version is expired

          • @enteraname: The non-G model isn't as good, it has slower response times and is only 100 vs 144Hz. Still fine for productivity, noticeably worse for gaming.

It'll probably go down to around that price again with Black Friday sales.

            • @Shrew: Thanks. I'm hoping for a 4k 144z model to have a good deal. If not, S3422DWG might be the winner.

  • Is there a shortage of monitors? This is pretty expensive from past deals even if cheapest at the moment. Maybe wait for Black Friday.

Lol @ RRP on Banggood webpage of US$808 (~AUD$1072)

Used this monitor as WFH for the past 11 months, no gaming. Got death of black screen yesterday and it seems like this is not uncommon.

Sent an email to Xiaomi directly for warranty yesterday (official Xiaomi ebay store), but threw away the boxes so not even sure how I am going to return this…

    • Not having original box should not be an issue based on ACL. Hope yours is sorted. Have similar issue (different fault).

  • So peeps don't think this is a good deal?

  • Have this and bought from Banggood in February as well. Just developed today a vertical 6.5cm dark strip 6.5cm away from left side. Waiting to find out how warranty will work if at all. Emailed xiaomi Australia support and waiting for response. But I will not buy again unless local warranty is confirmed.
