Logitech MX5500 Keyboard and Mouse Combo $116 at IJK ($110.20 after Price Match at Officeworks)

12

Went to officeworks at Blacktown and asked the staff to match IJK price which was $116.

Nice keyboard. I bought it to replace the older model MX5000. It may not be for everyone but I particularly like the calculator on keyboard feature.

Price matching is not a bargain.

LogitechShop.com.au has it for $119 but once the rep sees this, it'll probably go down to $100.

    • yeah they have done the mx5500 for 99 in the past, 75 would be pretty awesome, though one of the sales assistance was telling me better off going for something like the mk710 as the 5500/bluetooth really drains the batteries.

yes they will, i do it all the time…

have saved a small fortune on inks and toners…

        • +1

They actually asked if the store has an actual store, otherwise it will be + shipping

        • They actually asked if the store has an actual store

          Read their price match policy…

Anyway, you posted a deal from IJK, the link I posted is cheaper…

        • "When price matching online stores we also take into account the added cost of delivery"

difference is.. IJK has a physical store

        • IJK has a physical store

Only in Sydney, every OW outside of Sydney will add postage from IJK too, so the theofficeshop deal works out cheaper for everyone else… (unless you want to change your deal to SYD only ????)

    • On ebay.. really??

        • Well I missed out on that. Its now $119 at LTS

        • and by the way that was LTS's ebay account. they sell on ebay too.

Not trying to shoot ur deal down. just hoping LTS brings those prices back again. :D

  • Have to say I've had mine for a year now and the only thing I'm a fan of is the battery life - everything else is meh. Things to note … keys have a high travel before registering (so not great for gaming) and can stick easily on the rise - and have done so since day one. Being a multi OS type of guy I found that this also has very poor compatibility with OSX for any but the standard keys (even volume adjustment doesn't work which is fine with some of my standard usb cabled keyboards and scroll and thumb buttons on the mouse also do not work).

  • lol bought this 4 years ago for like $129. 3rd replacement and going strong!

    • +2

you've replaced it 3 times and you say its going strong?

      • it goes strong for 12 months… (until the warranty runs out)

  • price matching is not a bargain.
