Not sure if this is a good TV (I am looking for feedback) but it seems to be a good price. Local dimming (full array)?*, HDMI 2.1. Although brightness is only 330 Nits.

$100 cash back.

*NOTES: Local dimming (full array) is on the Appliances Online but not on TCL website. Can someone verify?

bought this 2 weeks ago from JbHiFi for $1798.

4k QLED is great for the price point imo
Android is surprisingly quick however if you start to install additional apps you can feel start to feel how laggy it gets (i ended using my Nvidia Shield)

    • I wonder how it stacks up against TCL 75X10.

    • how bright is it? reflective?
haven't been able to get info

just into a house with no blinds installed as yet - enough to get by, not too reflective imo

        • sounds perfect thanks!

Why don’t they sell them in metric sizes?

    • +1

Because OB members make stands with two by fours!

  • Anybody compared it to a similar Hisense?

    • If my memory is correct a 65” hisense was a similar shape but about 10 or so inches smaller.

Got the 50" from JB recently.

    Pros:
    - Good TV for the price
    - Brightness and Sound is good
    - Dolby Vision Gaming works as well
    - Android OS is good and Google Home control works well

    Cons/issues:
    - No Full Array Dimming
    - This has Micro Dimming which is crap when turned on
    - No VRR with Xbox X (though TCL suggests VRR capable)
    - Audio Lip Sync issue kicks in when switching between various apps like YT, NF, Prime. Though easily fixed by setting Audio Delay to '275'. No issue now
    - Turning Off Menu Sounds makes the OS work so much better
    - Android gets a bit laggy here and there but a restart fixes that. Only had to restart maybe 3 times in like 2 months.

Still i'd recommend this for the value.
    Hope that helps.

  • the good guys have the 75" C727 for $1795 which has full array dimming
    https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/tcl-75-inches-c727-4k-qled-fu…

    • And they are participating in the click frenzy event (an additional 11% off)

  • I just bought the TCL 75 inch C727 from The good guys for 1597.55.
Current advertised price at 1795 with an additional 11% off from the click frenzy event. Ends today.

As far as I can tell the C727 has a slightly better screen with FALD than the C725. But the C725 has slightly better inbuilt audio.

    • oh wow great price!
i bought one myself on tuesday for $1710

Got one at JBHifi yesterday for $1508. Free delivery is scheduled for Thursday. Price matched with Stan Cash, a smallish Melbourne appliance retailer that was around in the 90s. I was surprised they were still in business.
Was also considering the LG NANO75 75" on Saturday for $1742 but JB are out of stock on that one now so I went ahead with the C725.
Link to the C725 on Stan Cash website…
