    You'd be

    silly

if you think you have a good chance to get those extreme deals

    • +1

its no black Friday, that's for sure

  • +58

I expect nothing and I’m still disappointed

  • +22

Those top five items aren’t deals they’re clickbait.

    • +2

I've won one, but you will need to spend 5 hours pressing f5 and a bit of luck

    • +2

      Wouldn't say they're clickbait as much as they're a lottery / raffle.

  • Has anyone ever won twice? After winning the $5 switch once and not winning anything the next time I'm starting to think you can't win twice

    • +7

I wouldn't know, cause I have never won.

    • Are you Luke on their home page?

    • +11

Send me $500 in Apple gift cards and I'll send you the details of the only way to win a game of chance every time.

    • +1

Yes! I have won 3 things actually, a portable projector, coffee machine and a $100 travelonline gift card (never came unfortunately but oh well). So it’s definitely possible just extremely hard to win in the first place!

    • +3

Winning a $5 Switch has to be the pinnacle of competition bargains - everything after that would be a disappointment I reckon.

      • +2

Can confirm, my friend in 2016 won a $10k cruise for a tenner and has said nothing on OzB has filled that void since.

    • I've won the Xbox Series S, a Nintendo Switch and an iPad Mini (which they ended up refunding… so I got it for freeee!). Eversince they've changed how they do the competition I haven't won, sadly. (And NO, I didn't cheat.)

    • yes, I've won three times, but not in the last couple of years, the questions are getting more and more random, and I don't really like it ever since they changed to the pop up setting, with both my phone and laptop on, I can clearly see the slight time difference when the pop up shows, so you never know even if you answered correct within split of a second, others may have 1 second earlier having the pop up showing.

  • Last time I won a camera but not hopeful this time as it really comes down to luck

  • +1

Always enter these and never win the deals. I won a tv though through a competition they were running! Best tv ever. Hopefully they do more this year

  • +5

I hope the servers don't crash on 9/11.

  • Well we have 3 winners in this comments section alone, so they do give the prizes to someone!

  • Anyone got a view as to whether Click Frenzy deals are on par with Black friday?

I'm in the market for a couple of 27" monitors and can pull the trigger at either event.

    • +2

Probably not. You're better off waiting for black friday or Cyber Monday

    • +1

be pretty sad if that is all black friday has to offer :(

      • yeah, that sucked!

  • +1

I won the Samsung Note 20 last year.
    Not bad for $13

    • sorry for your loss mate!

  • start from 00:00 ??

  • +6

    Any BARGAINS??

    JV, probably

  • +1

Follow the steps for best chance of winning:

Step 1: Get a mac pro or similar with 1tb of ram.
Step 2: open a million tabs of the same website
Step 3: run a automation script which refreshes page to get hold of the deal
    Step 4: pray for luck
Step 5: cry in a corner after failing

    • +4

      Mac Pro? Not on ozbargain.

Duel socket 2014 dell optiplex server from ebay with insane amounts of RAM composed entirely of 4gb DDR3 sticks gotten from public sector e-waste.

  • +1

Won a Lego set last year, friend won a security camera, not as major as some of the other winners but seems is a few ozbargainers who have won in the past, everyone wondering if they can win twice (I wonder as well).

As for those thinking it's all about F5ing, that was years ago, these days it auto pops up for everyone (turn adblock off) and F5ing can actually screw you by making the popup disappear.

You have to answer some kinda question, some are pure luck (how many visitors did the website have last year?) so you make a guess, others are watching a live instagram feed and them tricking you into what item they are shopping for (they will show a bunch of stores or brands) till they finally do reveal it, others you need to know something like "How many TV's are shown in the electronics section".

Basically yes some is a pure guess and luck, but others take skill, all are 'who answered first and quickest' and they can take upto a week to SMS winners (it's in the T&C) they took 3 days to SMS me, I won off a "What's our instagram name? (@click_frenzy)".

Only tip I can give is be watching the site for the popup clearly, install instagram on your phone and turn alerts on for everything and save https://www.instagram.com/click_frenzy/live as a link sometimes I found phone was ahead of time for instagram live other times PC was.

    Good luck all!

    • +3

That seems a lot of effort. I prefer the F5.
      Make the F5 great again.

    • they as this everytime and never know the answer…
"what is the popular deals" "how many clicks…." "how many blah blah blah"

      any ideas?

      • I just take a guess for those ones, it's pure luck mate.

  • Does anyone know if Qatar airways is participating in Frenzy this time around? They usually do 10-15% off!

    • +1

Doubt it, no need to discount as they'll be plenty of demand.

  • Does rebel sport ever give any good discounts in the year?

  • Anyone else not able to use the 40% off code CLICK on their MyProtein order?

    • +1

They do regular 40% off promos so dont worry if ypu have missed out for now. Just wait a little.

  • +3

I am not familiar with Click Frenzy. What exactly do you need to do to "win"?

  • Anyone remember the year where some people got access to the questions before hand ? That was wild.

I've never tried click frenzy deals since then.

  • Hi OP just trying to understand how can I score on this deal, my parents just moved into a house and in need of one.

    Any tips?

    Sony Pro Bravia 65" 4K TV - $17

    • +1

Not the OP, but see my reply 5 above your question, explains how the deals work, the TV's are normally the random chance questions so very hard to win.

      • Thanks mate, looks like a very long shot. I'll ask my parents now to sit for this as they got the time and the patience.

        • It's hard to win no question, but hey as you can see in the thread people do so it's not impossible at least. Make sure you signup for emails with the account, the emails give the exact hours for what deals (like between 10am-11am for x deal), it's normally posted here too as well once it's announced though.

  • Is Catch part of Clickfrenzy?
Unless I missed it, I couldn't see their site on the list of participants..

    • +2

They are not. Catch are doing their own 'Catch Frenzy'.

      • +2

That name makes it sound like Frenzy is a disease.

  • I won an outdoor shade thing once. Mustn't have been many people going for it. Highly doubt I'll be successful this time. Good luck to everyone participating.

  • Qantas Store is also participating in the ClickFrenzy albeit with 15% off points site wide. The new MacBook Pro 14 and 16 are listed as well (ETA is 28 days though). I've been eyeing on the MacBook Pro M1 for awhile and have points expiring (and now here to go for holiday).

  • T2 might be okay

Anyone about if there’s a Soundbar??

  • I'm new to click frenzy. What do you actually do?

    • just consume "bargains"

      • Munches Om nom nom

        • any deals on ivermectin?

  • Mind if I ask how to so call win something?
Sorry I am new to click frenzy and not too sure about the procedure…

    • +3

They will email a time (say 6-7pm). Or just keep an eye on this thread. During that time, there will be a pop-up. Answer an obscure question (usually doesn't have a hard answer) fast and sometime later you might get an email that you've won. Answers are supposedly rated by correctness first and time second.

They've changed it a few times, but that's what it's been like lately.

Example question: how many pictures of suitcases can you see on the "travel" page?

Keeping in mind that for this example, there would be lots of bags that are ambiguous if they are suitcases or not, and new listings will be added and removed continuously, making the number change continuously. There is no transparency on what the "correct" answer ended up being. So it's usually a bit frustrating to say the least.

      • Thanks again for the brief and easy to follow comment :)

    • +1

Also a FAQ here if it helps.

You can have a read through a previous forum post for it to get an idea.

      • Thanks, that post really help :)

    • +1

Most of the smaller prizes will be questions you can do homework on, like how many brands are participating this year, and how many pictures of dogs in the pet section. Most of the bigger prizes are crap shooty, which makes it interesting to enter, because anyone can win, like how many visitors to the site last year. The second and third days usually include having to watch the Instagram live video of someone walking around Melbourne shops and the city and they usually enter the store of one of the major sponsors. Knowledge of Chadstone shops helped me last year knowing they were heading towards Myer, ironically I didn't win that prize. The one prize I did win was the major prize last year where I guessed the answer before the question came up and had it copied and ready to go when the question popped up. Some good advice is don't second guess your answer, just enter as soon as you can. Also if you haven't won something, I'd say you have more of a shot at winning, so if it's your first go use your luck on the big prizes and don't try and enter for a Nutri-bullet or something lame because you can only win one thing per event.

  • I am looking for Front Loading Washing machine and wonder whether there will be any deals

    • +3

The good guys has 11% off if you use promo code "ELEVEN"

      • Thanks, will be a good saving on the coffee machine.

      • Thanks mate. Let me try that

  • Their pre sale didn't work. Clicked the log in for it and got taken to my profile page or the countdown. They weren't very helpful on their fb page when they bothered to reply.

  • Has the time for the first go nuts deal been announced yet?

    • Doesn't look like it.

      • Just got the email with the first two

        • +1

Strange didn't receive anything at all…

  • +4

    Airpods Pro: 8-9pm AEDT
    Nutribullet Select: 9-10pm AEDT

  • Didn't we already have a klik frnzy this year?

    • There is 2 or 3 per year I think

    • That seems to be back in May.
This is my 1st time to join this frenzy…

      • yeah sounds right. I remember being disappointed recently

    • There was one in May and a smaller one in July

  • +2

This is a garbage click bait event correct?

    • +1

Pretty much, I'm just here for the 99% off deals. I've won once before so I know it's possible.

      • Yeah deals are pretty bad apart from the 99% off. Not sure if it’s worth the time though

      • +1

how does that work? You have to keep the bowser open on https://clickfrenzy.com.au/ and hope for a popup?

        • Yes, each one has an hour window as to when it can pop up. For example, tonight there are Airpods Pro between 8-9pm AEDT and Nutribullet Select between 9-10pm AEDT.

          • @huskymaddog: That sounds incredibly frustrating. omg.

            • @furyou: Will this work mobile browser or only in desktop?

  • Do you need to add a mobile number for your account to get the code?

  • +2

Is everyone ready to answer questions like: how many pairs of shoes are there in the images?, how many brands have we partnered with? or what have I got in my pocket?

  • +3

    Just got the email

    AIRPODS PRO

Deal goes live between 8-9pm (AEDT) $4

    NUTRIBULLET SELECT

Deal goes live between 9-10 pm (AEDT) $2

    • Are they the only deals for tonight?

      • They were the only deals listed in the email so I’m not sure if there will be any others tonight.

  • ELEVEN on Good Guys brings the Dinamica plus down to $1378.00.

Nearly paid $1550 a few hours ago so happy with that!!!

  • do the pop ups come up on safari?

    • Yes they do. Pop ups have both come up on my MacBook and iPhone.

  • I cant remember but did amazon au have any deals on movies last year?

  • Any luck for anyone yet?

  • +1

They won't do it till probably 8.55pm

    • They need people to sit on the page for an hour. Essentially an hour long advertisement waiting for a pop up
