    no no no no no…

  • I don't understand why anyone would get this pack. Unless you REALLY wanted Kinect.
JB has a 250GB console (so you know you can actually like… save your games), Halo: Reach, Fable 3, Mass Effect 3 and 3 months of XBL for $399 with free shipping.

  • I thought the XBOX 360 was very soon going to be $149?

  • There's probably a reason why only 3 of them have been sold so far….
Oh yes, I remember. Christmas sales and $50 Kinect cashback.
I assume the $399 RRP for a 4GB console is for a Kinect sensor bundle?

I'm not interested in paying full RRP for the games and the hardware prices are nowhere near as competitive as the Christmas sales.

It seems that the deal has been sweetened during the day with the addition of the
Accessory Pack including genuine D Pad Controller with Play and Charge Kit ($99rrp)
I don't remember seeing that in the original deal.

  • RRP is misleading.

  • JB has a 3 game (Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Sonic Sega All Stars Racing) Kinect/4GB bundle for $369. The Accessory pack is about $90, so $459. You're paying $40 for Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Forza Motorsport 4, The Gunstringer and Kinectimals Gold - Now with Bears. So it depends if you want those or not.

The problem with big bundles is you usually only want one or two of the extras in the bundle. If you genuinely want everything in this bundle and aren't just going "oh, maybe I'll use that at some point", then it's a good deal. If you don't really need the accessory pack, the Kinect, or a couple of the games then the price is just normal.

    shrug

  • complete rip off

    get a $149 xbox
    $49 copy of forza 4

and get a hdd for under $100

kinect and everything to do with it is garbage

    i'm surprised for $499 they don't throw in a hdd…

Where do you get the console for $149? It's $239 at JB.

  • This is the worst deal ever.

    • +2

Nah, there is worse, but this is pretty bad

    • Right… And what's the best deal ever!?

      • +2

I was exaggerating, obviously, but how can anyone consider this to be a good deal?

        • For a complete set-up & few games thrown in… Doesn't look too bad!
Especially, for the folks who missed last year's sale :(

      • On the top of the screen

        Deals > popular >

        • Its almost next to impossible to cash-in on any of those 'pop' deals since most of them are expired. So they're kinda like a big 'flop' for me:(
          But thanks anyways…

  • I'm looking for a new slim console for under $200 asap. I hope the easter sales have one because I don't think my console will last until the "end of financial year" sales.

My fat white console has been playing up these last two weeks. About once a night it'll freeze during online multi-player or it will shut down by itself and occasionally it will give me the dirty disk error and boot me off the server.
