3036

We’re back for November: Telstra Day is on again - Friday 5 November @ 1am (online), and in all of our stores that are now open post-lockdown!

First three deals are live now, but as a treat for y’all, I’m able to put up ALL THE DEALS from tomorrow morning. I’ll update the post with more when it goes live.

Just by way of an update: I know some of you have had logistics issues with the system in previous month. I’ve made our back-of-house team aware of the issue and they’ve been working on improvements. If it happens to you, we’ve got some instructions linked in the post to help you get a resolution.

New Telstra customers who sign up to a Medium or above mobile plan will also get a $100 gift card to spend at one of over 50 retailers

  • What a joke the pro max 128gb still unavailable

  • All iPhone 12 pro unavailable :/

  • No stock of most iPhones

  • You’d hope someone at Telstra would pickup this thread and share it with a senior manager, maybe even pm some of the complainant’s, you know customer care.

Sorry I’ll let myself out. /s

    service - bad
    logistics - bad
    deals - missing

  • I've been reading these comments wondering how bad can they really be? I've had a service with Telstra for a little while and had no concerns. Yesterday I rang the local store about an S21 Ultra and asked for it to be put aside. Lady did that and said turn up any time today to pick it up…so today I turn up and get told No, you have to book in and there is a two hour wait. Service is woeful, why didn't the half-wit mention that yesterday? Two hours to buy a phone that should take 2 minutes? Useless. Now I understand everyone's frustration.

    • Yes the whole set up is appalling. I mean if these staff worked on commission only they worked bend over backwards to make a time and keep it. But alas they have a don’t care attitude. The sales staff at jb hi fi can show them how it should be done. Those guys are great.

  • So even after reading the comments, I still give it a shot since I never tried telstra
Ends with: sales rep left my question unanswered in store
Online: forced me to go plan even I wanted the phone outright purchase.

Guess who will never consider this brand again

  • I’m one of the few who actually were happy with previous Telstra day offers. This one, no online, no sizes, and stores are out of stock….
    Waste of time.

  • This is a Shit Show, off to TIO I go!

  • Spam.

  • I must have been a lucky one who didn't have issues with a previous iPhone 12 deal. I am an existing Telstra customer with Telstra plus. I had 130,000 points to use, which I did on an iPhone 12. Ordered phone at 2pm on a Wednesday via Telstra rewards and it was delivered before 1pm the next day.

    • The first few deals were good. But the main issue has been there from the beginning. Telstra system sucks that it can't recognized the unit number in delivery address so all of them had to be returned as undeliverable.

So no iphone 12 mini, disappointing….

  • Is there a way to pay by PayPal?

  • After 3 phone calls, 7 missed phone calls by the automated system, 2 visits to a Telstra Store, 1 TIO complaint and no phone ordered I cannot imagine how this day could have been more of a FAILURE and learning tool for those responsible for it.

    • +1

If Telstra learnt from its failures the business wouldn’t be in this position after years of asking customers for their experiences. They don’t care.

    • I’m in the same boat as well, their customer service has been very appalling lately.

  • iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 13? Which one would you pick?

    • +1

      Pro

      If cameras are important,
13 regular and mini have same tech as 12 pro max on main camera, 12 pro didn’t have this set up only max
You’re getting more ram better build I guess.

      • Thanks guys. Probably will go for normal 13, as I bought many apple gift cards hence the iPhone 13 256gb will be $1519 (minus approximately $200 as I got Woolworths rewards points). I have already the cash on account so probably makes more sense for me.

  • Do you get points after for the purchase on telstra day?

  • Why are normally depreciating prices marketed as one-day-only deals?

  • +1

I brought the iphone 12 pro max, nil problems ordering and was delivered quickly. This was the best price I have been able to find and I have been happy with the service. I cant quite understand all the negativity that went with this post.

    • You are probably their only customer who bought anything from this deal.

  • iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB(telstra.com.au) - $1349
Tried contacting Telstra support they may honor this pricing. Worth a crack with the support for any other deals here.

    • Really? Deal ended last week and they still honor?
