    Yep I can't see how that thing can carry 4 bikes / 60kg load rating given how thin the metal tubing is

    I got the exact same looking one off ebay. This thing can hold one bike ok, maybe 2 - more than that and it becomes a floppy mess. The plastic and rubber grips do not flex much and it's hard to use them. Pretty crap overall. Avoid.

  Seems to have nowhere to mount an auxiliary number plate, which is required by law (in QLD, probs other states too).

  The reviews on Amazon are fake-as. There isn't a single clear photo of it on a car with bikes mounted, but loads of reviews saying it's garbage. The "Baby love you" review, with a supposed verified purchase includes a blurry photo of a 3-bike rack that reverse image search revealed is not original.

  The description also says you can't drive over 80 kph with it. If you can't take your bikes out of town, why are you even buying a vehicle bike rack?

  Hard pass.
