I have no idea what they are like these days, but Denon used to make much better audio gear than Bose or Sony. Whether Denon of today is still the same company of 15+ years ago I have no idea, but just wanted to point out how good Denon's reputation was and still might be.

I went the Momentum 3s from JB for $300. ANC is handy and the reviews are more consistent. I think it's hard to charge this much for headphones released over 2 years ago with very inconsistent but limited reviews. Especially when there are so many excellent (well-reviewed) BT options (most with ANC) at this price point and all the way down to about $80 (like Edifiers).
Send me a set to review, OP, and I'll compare them with the Momentums. :-)
I'd give it a try if this was sub 100. At this price of go for Bose or Sony.
