    Got 3 play bars behind my ultrawide monitor and the Hue Play software running on it. The bias lighting adds a heck of a lot of immersion for gaming or movies, especially at night!

      Yes but you used the cheapo free method to do it. The method sold here to add immersion costs a pretty penny. Not recommended.

        It also doesn't work for PC unless you're a low refresh pleb. DisplayPort required for most monitors to function at > 60hz unless you have a HDMI 2.1 monitor and HDMI 2.1 capable GPU.

        However, it's one of the ONLY ways you can achieve the effect for retail HDMI-based devices. Is it overpriced? Sure! Are there other options? Not really…

    I got 65 inch play strip, new gradient strip at the bottom of tv and sync box setup. It's a big investment but worth it!

      I just got the new gradient strip to join my sync box and 65" strip. Do you just plug the new gradient strip into the power plug for the hue sync and bobs your uncle?

        No, individual power source. I had issue when all three devices are running on the sync power plug. I believe it couldn’t provide enough voltage.

        Normally we attach the gradient light strip at the back of your TV cabinet if TV sits on it.
        But You will need it at the bottom of your TV if you hang it on wall.

    I got excited learning there's "Fire TV 4K Max with Philips Hue Play" until I read it again.
