@Bisky1: Yeah I just saw those UGG comments above, scummy move for sure.

I'm particularly happy with my 860's tho, I find it almost hard to believe anything better could exist, considering how bad my poor flat, wide, bad feet are.

It's more a case of the market has now met Hoka, Hoka was always doing high stack heights when everyone else was doing flats and minimalism. I wouldn't say they're ahead of their time but rather a case of now the market is full of these types of shoes there's more people looking at them. Some of their shoes really have stood out over the last few years (Rincon and Speedgoats) and it's not just marketing spin. Really though, a shopper locking themselves into a brand isn't the play, particularly as all shoe makers make incremental improvements or fatal flaws year on year. I have a lot of shoes.

  • Cheers OP. Copped some Clifton 7s.

Aside from Hoka owners being d*ck , running warehouse are a pretty good company in my limited experience. Bought a pair of Saucony a while back and delivered within 4 days of order

    • RW are great, agreed.

  • Hoka Gaviota 3 or Saucony Omni 19 for someone that usually wears Brooks Beast?

Clickbait discount rate. $5 delivery and $13 “sales tax” really?? If you don’t provide the option for pick up in store you should have standard delivery included in the sale price. And what is the sales tax anyway?

    • +4

      "sales tax" is GST

      • How does someone not know that?

    • +1

Sales tax is GST, its included in the purchase price and the discounted price. Its not an additional charge. More then welcome to pick the shoes up from one of our retail shops or directly from the warehouse.

      • Ok my bad. I didn’t see the pick up option I’ll just try again

      • how does one arrange click and collect? the website only seems to have postal options.

        • Best to call the retail shop direct. If you want to collect from the warehouse a retail shop is on site you can just go in.

  • Thanks OP.

I ended up placing 2x orders.

    1x Bondi 7 & Clifton 8 in Sz D, and 1x Bondi 7 & Clifton 8 in Sz 2E as I've read Hoka's can run slightly narrow.

I'll end up returning the order that doesn't fit as their return policy looks pretty decent.

I am basically looking for maxroad 5. But for some reason nobody wants to import it. Which one is having good cushion for running, light weight and flexible? clifton or one?

    • Running warehouse USA ships Skechers to Australia although the maxroad never seems to in stock. I ended up ordering a pair from Skechers USA and got them shipped via planet express a while ago.

    • Myer had these a month or so ago at 30% off. Not sure if there is any stock still around

      • They have the women’s version only.

  • Any recommendations for trail walking/running? Doing the Oxfam trailwalker next year!

    • +1

none of the hoka trail shoes are on special. if you want a bargain pair of trail runners, you could try the Merrell moab flights for $130 + post - reviews look OK but I've not tried them -

      https://www.merrellaustralia.com.au/products/moab-flight-inc…

      • +1

Agree on Merrell, they make the best trail shoes, the value for money is exceptional
Although those moab flights are pretty much intended to be for running and have a significant drop height of 10mm and may not suit your average walker.

  • Hello, would there be any women's Clifton 8 in wide (D) for size 7 coming back into stock? Only just saw this and missed out. :(

  • more mach 4 sizes please!!!!!

  • Hi OP, Any of these shoes comparable to my Brooks glycerins? Need a relatively big toe box, wide fit. Thanks.

  • Should I be embarrassed to proclaim that I'd never heard of this brand before…

    • Haha .. yes, they are a top tier brand

  • Hi Tom
Can you please throw us a deal on the torrents 🤞

  • ty!

  • I used to own a hoka arahi 2 would works great.. Is the size and width still the same for arahi5?

  • Not working on the Gaviota

  • -1

No offence. These shoes are hideous for that price.

    • -1

Have you owned a pair of Hola?

Hideous? Do you mean aesthetics or function?

  • I have used gaviota for a few years and it’s the best running shoe I ever bought that I got my mother and husband a pair and they love it. So comfortable and great shoes. Solved my knee pain problem whilst running. Highly recommended. I also pronate so it fixes that

  • What happened to the NB Fresh Foam More v3? Have they stopped producing them? if not any idea when they will be back in stock?

  • It seems, code is not required. is that correct?
How much is HOKA Bondi 7 after code? $161.96? Thanks

    • +1

Yes looks like they have applied the discount to all the relevant shoes so you do not need to enter the code now. If you do enter the code, it accepts it but doesn't actually lower it any further

    • +2

      excludes carbon and trail models

      • So they're not wrong then. :D

      • thanks

  • I just bought gaviota 8D as my older ones need to be replaced. I find the wider shoe is more comfortable on my feet. Thanks, great discount!

  • Hey OP, no scheduled BF deals for Topo shoes?
