  • How much ?

  • do we need the main eufy home base to run this?

  • Can this work with a Eufy home base?

    • for storage? the battery add-on version (T8210CW1) works with homebase.

      • Yes storage

  • Will this have the footage deletion issue?

    • Looks that way #eufyflawed

    • no idea on this issue. I got the 365 wireless battery cameras without any issues yet. but physical removal of the doorbell is a possibility.

    • This wired one store the videos on the doorbell unit not the homebase. That means if the door bell been stolen, videos gone.

      • yup one of the negatives on this doorbell as it comes without homebase and subscription but my cameras are in view to the doorbell. dyor might not be the best fit to your home, nest could be better.

      • Videos can be gone on Wireless version as well. #eufyflawed

  • I have an old intercom unit (camera connection to a screen in the kitchen) and wondering if I could use the same wires….

It has a 4 wire pin connecting the intercom at the front door, (video/yellow, GND/black, Audio/blue, 14V/red)

Can I just use the red and black to connect the EUFY?

    • not a sparky. mine is an old intercom (w/o camera) with 2 existing wires. White and blue wires iirc.

    • I have an old Aiphone (Japan) like your set up. I wanted to replace it as it no longer working since I moved in.

      • yeah, the device stopped playing the doorbell sound a month ago. I took it apart and there wasn't any rusting or circuit breakers. so it's weird.

        • I think my power transformer is faulty but I have not got the time to change it.

  • I have provision for doorbell wires, but I don't have any previous chimes. Will this work?
I can't find any instructions how to connect if there is no previous chimes?

    • +1
