  Note that on minimum brightness these are still pretty bright, and they generate a fair amount of heat. I've got 2 of these on my desk with C clamp mounts and they're good, but sometimes blinding, sometimes make me sweat and aren't the easiest to turn on and off with the app.

    There are Neewer 660s (this model) that have only white LEDs, those are cheaper than this RGB model and possibly a bit brighter too.

  The barn doors will only open when the lamp is vertical as shown in the picture. Massive engineering failure.

    You can take off the barn doors, just 4 screws holding it in place.

        Which picture are you referring to? The thumbnail on this page? The orientation of the 2 lights in the thumbnail are landscape.

  Mac OS only though so if you don't have a mac well your out of luck lol.

    There is a pc version someone has made that is linked to in that github page. You can control the lights via a command line interface, so in theory the Stream Deck should be able to control these. I haven't managed to get it working in a stable manner yet though.

      I was looking at this earlier this morning and came back to it this afternoon when I decided to proceed. At that time it said there were 3 units left (although, it still said "3" after I made my purchase).
      It's possible that they only had a limited number for sale at that price, so it was either the quantity or the 7 days - whichever came first.
