          • You will receive $30 credit for the 1x $100 purchase.
          • You will receive $20 credit for the 1x $120 purchase.

          I assume you can only claim the spend $100 at JB Hi-Fi, get $10 back offer once, right? (Nearly all AMEX offers will only let you claim a cashback offer once. This deal is unusual in that it allows you to claim a cashback offer twice.)

          I think it doesn’t really matter if you split the transaction into two AMEX payments, or just process it as one AMEX payment. There is actually nothing in this offer to state that you have to use this offer across two or more transactions to get the full $40 cashback. If you want to play it safe, ask to split the transaction into two card payments and use your AMEX card twice.

        You can check if the offer triggered by also logging in online. On the dashboard page if you scroll down to 'Amex Offers' -> 'Savings'.

        You can see if it triggered if it shows as 'AMAZON RETAIL AU; REDEEMED; You saved $20.00'

        I purchased 2x $100 gift cards online, didn't get the email saying my offer was used. I contacted amex CS and got below response so I assume it's covered. Nick@AMEX also mentioned that emails may be delayed due to high volume of offers being claimed. Regarding email when an offer is claimed, I used get them asap but suddenly I've stopped getting them despite offer being used and credit being applied. So I wouldn't care about the email too much.

      Check your offers page and confirm if you've accepted the offer. As for email, it seems like not everyone is getting the offer claim email. I bought 2x $100 JBHIFI gift cards but didn't get the email. However, checking my amex app it shows that my offer was claimed.
