Doing the math:
* MX Keys - Usually on sale at around $149 (Retails usually around $199)

    Depends on personal preference or needs I guess. Might be a plus for people with boney wrists of certain conditions.

        it’s just a separate piece as pictured

        its soft and has a rigid base at the bottom, has enough weight to stay put

    I have a large mouse pad underneath mine and I find it comfortable. Using a mouse however, I have one with a rest

    I have this kit and love it!

  Pretty sure it was slightly cheaper previously as there was a VIP sale or something. Brought it down to about $273 iirc. Would have purchased but didn’t have any money to spare.
  This is probably the next best deal for the pair.

  bought the keyboard $130 i think?
  and saw many times at kogan the mouse is only $120 so yeah not fantastic deal

    Depends, I've seen the keyboard cheaper as well but non standard english layout. For e.g. on Kogan it's $99 but it's the German keyboard layout. I rarely do see the keyboard less than $147-$149 or thereabouts.

  MX Keys - $159
  MX Mini - $129
  MX Master 3 - $119

  So you could grab the MX Keys and MX Master 3 for $248 delivered. I've got the MX Keys and I really don't think you need to bother with the palm rest. All my previous keyboards had one, but given how thin / low profile these keyboards are you don't need one IMO.
