    Great deal, Gerry will be fuming!

    I ordered Resistance 3 and Tekken Hybrid this morning around 9am, then at midday took a printout of my receipt and they went and got them for me off the shelf. I wouldn't wait for any confirmation as it certainly does not seem like they rush to secure stock for you when you order online. Good chance of missing out on stock and having to wait for it to be ordered in otherwise.

    Am I the only one that had a great experience with this sale?

    Ordered 5 games at 1am last night, got the pickup comfirmation at 10am, went in at 1pm, my order was sitting there and ready for me to take it.

    All brand new AUS region games, no 2 game limit, no UK copies.

      Not at all. I've had a field day with the sale and seeing that prices remain the same, my assumption of it expiring was wrong.

      I am going to crawl into the Norwest store tomorrow night and grab every single PS Vita game I can. Taking 2 friends to help out, in case they don't allow 1 person to purchase 5+ titles.

        I never even had to ask. It was just there. Your tax invoice or order confirmation should show that it includes KS1 as well… I'm sure mind did (don't have it handy sorry).

          Hmmm, have sent an email query to them to ask for confirmation.

          The trouble is that I don't really want to order Season 2 if Season 1 isn't included. If I add it to shopping cart it doesn't say there either.

          Will hang tight until a salesman at the actual store can confirm for me :-)

    I ordered dance central 2 and SSX yesterday, when I got my order confirmation, only dance central 2 was on it! And they amount was changed to not include SSX! It just vanished from my order, when I pushed "Pay now" it clearly stated on he side that SSX was going to be part of it, and the sum would be higher.. And now SSX is nowhere to be found on their site! SSX was the main reason for my purchase! wtf

      The order confirmation that comes through right after you make the purchase online?

      If it's not listed there, then I'd suggest you go back and check your cart again.. That part is completely automated - if it's in your cart when you make the purchase online, it will show up on that email.

      It's only after a couple of hours that a Real Human will actually process the order, that's when the fun begins….

        I bought Skyrim and SSX yesterday morning and got a confirmation email stating that there is a delay and both games need to be backordered.

        Only Skyrim had a price next to it though on the confirmation email so hopefully SSX is coming too…

        That's why its annoying, cause when you pay, it shows you on the left what you are paying for and the price. When I clicked the button SSX was on the left side! And I clicked to pay $77, but when I got my confirmation, only $38 was charged, and SSX was gone.. I regret so much not taking a screenshot!

    Accidentally ordered double on one of the games, and they were delivered no probs, but now I have to work out how to return it and get my refund. But overall, I'm quite impressed, too easy :)

    ETA: The Kinect Sports 2 does come with Kinect Sports 1, well with my order anyway. All my order came from HN Blacktown, so I was told by HN Online

    My Harvey Norman guy let me get 4 out of the 5 games. He said he wasn't meant to but after a long mix up, he let me do it anyway. I think it was because I was polite, unlike the other guy who ended up with just two games because he was impatient. Yeahhh!

    Ordered one copy FF XIII-2 28/3 morning instant paypal charge and order confirmation email.
    Today still no tax invoice/pickup email from Harvey Norman Wiley Park NSW. Went there and saw 2 copies hanging at the shelves. Store person refused to give me a copy, insistent I would need pickup-confirmation. Gave me story about how system was backlogged etc..(apparently its not as posts above)

    Dicksmith system better, just order, pickup and pay on the spot.

      RedKelah, if your email for Paypal is different to your everyday email, it might be there. I gave my gmail address to HN when ordering, but the confirmation email went into my Paypal email address (hotmail, I hardly use thisone) instead.

          Yeah I came back quite unhappy and called online number to cancel, was in number 5 in queue, waited 18 mins no pickup so left my number, and nice lady called me back in 5 mins. She was surprised why WILEY PARK HN refused the order and in few seconds cancelled my order manually.

          I called JB hifi Bankstown to confirm stock (that has preorder bonus) and they just held on a copy for me. just went over to pickup my FF 13-2, 13 bucks more but came with the nice Preorder bonus tin :D

          Veilus : I think WILEY PARK HN is not participating in the sale. I called the other day before ordering and they said no stock (there is stock priced at full price sitting there) haha but i ordered anyways just to test the system.

          Can't wait for the DickSmith Sales.

          That's just bad luck - whether they honour the sale or not is up to the individual store's discretion (this was pointed out on HN's Facebook page). No need to neg just because you couldn't get something that others could by not following the rules.

          To be fair, they didn't exactly make the 2 game limit very obvious — it's only mentioned in the fine print. Plus, they're not bothering to enforce the limit on their end — they allow you to add as many games as you want to the cart, and will charge you for it, which is pretty misleading. Most people who did see the fine print just assumed it meant a maximum of two copies of each game (and in fact, some people have been told by Harvey Norman that it does mean that). It's a valid complaint, and I think his neg is justified.

          I'm still happy to keep my positive vote because things have worked out for me, but if others are having a bad experience with this deal, there's no reason they shouldn't vote negative.

      Since i cant edit my original post, ill post here why i gave a negative because people love to neg when they dont have a clue.

      1) Since i bought the goods and payed right away that would mean they would reserve some stock right? Even though i was over. A email stating please remove one and we can send the rest is too difficult. Easier to cancel the whole order.

      2) I had to ring up just to cancel my order, no number was given until i asked. If they wanted it cancel they should of sent the request directly to the online department instead of making me ring which turned it into 20 mins of waiting for a rep.

      3) Clearly their was hardly a customer limit, they should of said "2 per customer depending on what store you get" I just read the facebook page just then and it didnt mention anything about it. It only appears in small text on the homepage. What happens if you didnt click that link and just went to the gamming tab. Doesnt mention a thing

      4) I bet if i did pickup instead of ship and selected a store that other people had got the go ahead with more than 2 games, i would probably have gotten through as well.

      When i told them in the email i cant reorder since they gone, they just brushed it off. The lady on the phone was very nice and actually rang the store to see if it could be amended, unfortunately the store wouldnt allow it. All these little things made me give a negative. If everyone said they bought two and i got three then yeah neg me as much as you like but thats not the case here.

        Can you post the number where you can cancel the order? Or is it the store you nominated to pick-up from?

        The reason is I placed an order for ME3 & Uncharted 3, and to pick-it up from QV Melbourne. I got an email saying it will take 14 days to replenish back orders.

        I want to cancel as 14 days is too long.

    That facebook post has nothing about that 2 limit post so it's pretty misleading from first glance.

    Im with Veilus with this one, wiley park Harvy Norman emailed me saying they have to cancel my order but it's up to me to contact harvey norman online to organize a refund. wtf?

      That's pretty dodgy — they've made the mistake on their end by allowing you to add as many games as you want to the order, and only mentioned the 2 game limit in the fine print. It should be up to them to sort out the refund — or even better, honour the order.

    Still can't believe i had to call someone up to organize a refund … after my order has been canceled…!

    Gordon from Harvey Norman Online just contacted me. Nice guy to deal with expecially when i was a little irate because of the above (and having received an email from Wiley Park HN - they are the worst). Basically told me they can place limits on anything (as in limits on what they sell to customers), that the webstore has no "limiting" feature, and that stores have discretion to fufill how many they want e.t.c.

          Sounds like an issue with HN Wiley Park. I ordered 4 games and asked them to be delivered. They have been sent out this morning, so HN Online honours your order even if you exceed 2 titles.

    My Story…. I bought 6 PS3 games on the night of the deal at 2:00am and received order confirmation but no pick up confirmation as yet for QV Melbourne store!!! Seems like I might not even get any games as they are running out of stock.

    They did call me and told me that the free games was a glitch and thanks for my understanding….But fingers crossed good things happen to good people.. lol

    I'm not fussed if they even cancel my order…. cause I could buy same titles from UK/US/Asia sites…!!!

      My order from QV as well…ordered midday yesterday and no email yet. Called them but did not even want to check for me just asked me to wait. Amazon is better coz they constantly update the order status, customer can cancel the order any time and only charge on dispatch.

    Sorry if i sound a little childish. I wasn't irate that i didn't get the games, it was more that i had to contact them to organize a refund after they said they would cancel it.

    I know this sale and the 3DTV fiasco are two different things (as in the 3DTV's were a faulty product oversight) but didnt the courts rule that "fine print is not an antidote to misleading or deceptive conduct" and fined gerry's ass?

    Im sure alot of people missed the fine print, i only got onto the website via the facebook post which didnt show any mention of a limit.

    To the people that had to cancel their orders, can you post the number to call or is it store specific where you selected to pick-up the games?

    The reason is I placed an order for ME3 & Uncharted 3, and to pick-up from QV Melbourne. Then I got an email earlier this evening that the games are on back-order & will take 14 days to fulfill.
    I want to cancel as 14 days is too long to wait.

    Also, is there a different number to request the refund for the cancelled orders?

    When you click the "Contact Us" on the HN page, all it gives you is the form with no number to call.

    my order of Star Wars and Kinect sports 2 went through to City west store and got email from them to pickup but when got there they said they wouldnt honour it and cancelled, made my go all there way down there!

    Told me somone from the website would call me about refund, still waiting on Gerry to give me call……
