  • 6600 XT for $799 is the real MVP here, not the pretty crappy 3060 deal.

    The 2tb NV1 for $199 is also a steal, I don't think I've seen a 2tb NVME drive for less before.

    • 5900x at $700 is decent, especially compared to 12700k with cheaper motherboards

      • Yep also a good deal there

      The 2tb NV1 for $199 is also a steal, I don't think I've seen a 2tb NVME drive for less before.

By all of a handful of dollars if anything, and those drives had far more performance. 2100 MB/s sequential read is slow.

Without a coupon, this entire list is slim pickings.

    • +1

The prices will be discounted at the allotted timeslot for each deal.

        • +1

Not sure that makes it worth negging.

          • -2

@xyron: pretty sure I explained myself in plain English there, just way too limited time window for most people to take advantage of

            • +2

@FelixNZ: Yes, and my response is that your reasoning isn't good enough to warrant negging this deal.

              • -1

@xyron: Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

                • @FelixNZ: Not just mine - if your post gets enough neg votes, your own negative vote will be revoked from this deal.

                  • -3

@xyron: You're fine, rep has clarified that they are apparently not ridiculously limited timeslots so you lot with nothing to do but reload deal pages can relax

                    • +4

@FelixNZ: You've posted like 5 times in a matter of minutes on this deal, so your cries of being too busy to take advantage of these deals and attempts to denounce those who "have nothing to do but reload deal pages" rings somewhat hollow…

                      • @xyron: It's called a lunch break, and hey man, when I do get a smidge of time Ozbargainers gonna Ozbargain!

            • +2

              @FelixNZ: Hi FelixNZ,

How are you? The prices will activate at the allocated start time, and price will valid till midnight 29-11-2021 or if allocated stock runs out.

              Hope that clarifies your concern

              Cheers

              • @ShoppingExpress: Ahhh thankyou, that makes much more sense, main page of the website is saying that they only last 1hr, not that they actually run from deal start till midnight.

                • +1

@FelixNZ: Have another look, it shows clearly that the promo runs from start time to the 29th…….

                • +1

@FelixNZ: Hmm… i can't seem to find the part which states 1 hour, could you help me by linking me the page you saw it and also if it is on a banner so i can get the team to check it out.

At the same time this is a blackfriday promotion where we will have a set of deals rolling out daily, with all the deal ending on midnight 29th Nov 2021 as mentioned above, so you can still check some previously activated deals by checking the TABs on the black friday sale page if you have not seen them yet.

                  Cheers

                  • @ShoppingExpress: Yeah I think I've conflated two different promotions since I went through the main page and saw the 1hr deal banner, assumed they were one and the same with this promo, thanks for being helpful and clarifying my mistake!

                    • +1

@FelixNZ: All good Felix, glad i can help you out! :)

  • No but seriously, any deals?

  • 5900X for $699? How is this more expensive than the 12th gen i7?

  • +2

Hey guy should I get the kingston above or should I get

2TB Samsung 970 Evo PLUS NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD MZ-V7S2T0BW $269.1 Delivered (With Coupon) @ Computer Alliance

I am simply after file storage (though I do not want an external drive) - I don't game or have any other requirements.

I do want an SSD though to quickly search files.

  • Can the Kingston NV1 2TB 2100MB/s PCIe Gen 3 NVMe M.2 be good enough for gaming, streaming, photoshop, coding and virtual machines?

1TB isn't enough for OS install + all my apps

  • Is this on-going?
Don't see the 10 PM deals activating

I see the promotion page says "till 29th" so this should be marked as "expired" :(
