    At $99 for an extension pole and $200-$270 for the hedge trimmer / chainsaw attachments, that offer on the Ego power head kit is pretty much not worth it. Rep, imho you need to wrangle a deal on those attachments too.

    Also note the power head (not kit) is something like $240 on amazon last I checked.

      the one on amazon does not include the battery and charger. the battery and charger will cost $250 on its own.

        The attachments are so expensive that when you buy one attachment and the extension pole, which you DO need, $349+99+269=$717, it's barely a discount over $749 RRP for the full kit.

        The truth is that the offer is only a paltry $749-717=$32 off.

        Add to that,
        Firstly, lots of people have battery and/or charger anyway.
        Secondly, brand new batteries/chargers are $120/$50 off gumtree from people selling kits/promo offers. I know from both buying (getting started) and selling them (when i had more than i needed due to kits) and i keep an eye on the local market.

        TLDR: Not a deal on the powerhead unless they discount the attachments too.

          Is there anyway to verify the battery you are getting off gumtree is brand new? I've always thought it's too easy for people to swap out their old battery for the new one, my batteries are 2 years old but still look brand new, the cardboard box they came in doesn't have seals etc.

          I tend to agree on the powerhead though

          and then spend at least the $51 more and get the additional 2.5 Ah battery. Even using the OPs special this would still be $916 all up.
          I will say it's a good deal if you were entering the ego ecosystem for the multi-tool and want attachments that are never part of a kit eg the cultivator and the brush attachments but that would be a strange scenario.

          Yes. If you need heads anyway, then the kit with pruner plus hedger is better value at $749, given the 2 included heads alone are $538 to buy seperately. That means you are getting this OP powerhead kit for $210. Plus you are only $51 away from a redemtion 2.5Ah.

          If you really need a trimmer head its only $199, vs $269 for the other heads.

          The heads never go on sale BTW, I've been looking for over a year. In fact they have significantly increased in price since release.

            Yeah I've noticed the heads are never marked down, they have good margins on them too.
            Now I still have a note in my phone from a friend who used to work for a hardware store that sold Ego, the pole saw head had a rrp of $249, cost price was $132 Ex GST

    I have purchased EGO products from various outlets over the last few years but found this seller discounting all products with free delivery over $150. Recently purchased a multi-tool with hedger head from them and they are very helpful. I should have purchased the multi-tool in the beginning as have slowly purchased more products they are so impressive.

      Thanks for sharing. I was on the look out for a pole hedge trimmer/saw and ended up buying the new 650CFM blower and the edge trimmer while i'm at it.
      Already have the mower and line trimmer and have been happy with both.
      Their price was cheaper than most and also had 10% off first order, which made it worthwhile.
