Could try price matching at Officeworks for $616

    • no black :(

    • Tried but ow refused on the grounds the site doesn’t list the exact sku/ model id

Also tried Harvey normal but they refused …I dunno even why they bother having a price match policy.

That all said, I just bought with jb gift cards at $616 anyways after the 5% discount

  • damn, didn’t think it’d drop like this again

  • Very good price. Just bought this two weeks ago for $949

  • This or Eero Pro 6 3-pack for $699?

  • Just ordered.

Looking for some advice on how to set this up.
I have an Asus AC5300 and picked the XT8 to create a mesh, I'm wondering if I should keep the AC5300 as the main router and use the XT8 as satellites or use a XT8 as the main router and have 1 AC5300 and 1 XT8 as satellites.
This is all with wireless backhaul as I don't have wired connection points or can it be easily done

  • I got this 2pack from Amazon UK a few months ago for a similar price. It is really easy to setup just run the wizard. The XT8 has a faster spec so it should be the main router I would think. Wireless backhaul can be setup when running the wizard or it can be added to using the app with your phone. The 2 XT8's are both the same so either can be set as main router and you can use the second to allow wired ports in a different room.

  • Weird $649 special Is only for the black model, white is still priced at full RRP $949

Same price at Wireless1 with free shipping and 3% Cashrewards cashback: https://www.wireless1.com.au/asus-zenwifi-xt8-ax6600-wifi-6-…

  • So tempted but trying to decide between this and Orbi AX6000. The Orbi pack has a much higher RRP but TGG Commercial is $750 so not too far off from this (although the Asus with discounted gift cards can get you <$600 then and is more in price competition with the Orbi AX4200).

I was watching a review which said the XT8 has much better signal/range vs Orbi AX6000 (which is important to me as I live in a crowded apartment complex which has thick walls making wifi signal a bit weak even a couple of rooms away).

  • Just picked this up for $637. Asked nicely for a deal :) and I came with my 15% off gift cards from coles last night. Remember to be nice to the staff when they’re helping scratch and swipe!
