    It includes:
    2 x Compact Fast Chargers
    2 x 4.0Ah Batteries

  • Channelling my inner jv… how much is it normally?

    • +31

Needs more unnecessary bolding, and less self-awareness

    • Not sure of normal price, but the website lists a single 4.0AH with charger for the same price.

          • +1

            @Slimyfish: Keep buying ;) maybe 7 chargers & 12 batteries in my collection….

    • +1

The Hipster says this is normal price but very short tracking period?
Is it a case of being a promo item and not always available or something?

  • Anyone wanna split one in Perth? Keen on just one

    • Yep!
      Would happily.

  • whos in western sydney and wants to go half of the pack PM me

Make sure you actually receive the fast chargers. The listing says that it's 2 x fast chargers, but the picture shows 2 x standard chargers.

If you don't need the fast chargers, the batteries are currently $25 each and the standard chargers are $19 each.

Good deal, but for $79 more you can get a blower vac as well as the 2 batteries. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-2-x-18v-cordless-3-in-…

    • its showing $179 for me, what is happening to bunnings website today

      • That's right though. He said $79 more. ie $99 + $79.

        • arhhh my mistake

      • Yes, it's $179 inlcuding 2x 4a.h, 2 chargers and blow 3-in-1. That's why this deal + $79 more you get the blower combo.

    • Good advice @Jetfixer. I really need a blower but wondering Ozito or Ryobi or Makita ?? Your thoughts please?

      • +2

Ozito 5yr warranty. Ryobi slightly better, Makita is cheery on top. Ozito if you don't use it that often. Ryobi if you use it a bit more. Makita if you want to use a lot.

is this one brushless does anyone know? Some of the reviews are not good about it.. weak vacuum etc

      • +3

This is their brushless one. The one listed above is crap and I don't recommend it to anyone. Weak suction, an absolute chore to change from blower to vac mode, can't pick up anything unless you turn the turbo button on which tears through your batteries. If you were contemplating the 3-in-1 for the batteries and a little bit extra for the tool just buy the batteries from this deal and save the $80 seriously.

        • thanks a lot! The one you provided has got some negative reviews too!

Seems with these tools though its not recommended to use batteries at different charge rates..

example: I just bought the 2 x batteries deal here to use as backup for my mower when the grass is long

But if I start using these backup batteries to get a little bit more out of the mower, then I shouldnt then put those half used batteries in the blower?

Seems I should then get another set of batteries for this blower.. or I guess I could always wait for the the backup set to recharge before using the blower :P

          First world problems…

  • Nice first post OP.
And thanks - I just grabbed a set for garden tools.

  • Is there much difference between Ozito Compact/Regular vs Brushless tools? Brushless tools skins are ~twice the price?

    • Technically brushless would have longer life and use less power (battery should last longer) but it all depends on how much you use and how often you like to upgrade. My ozito gear is going into 6th year with basic use and still fine. My Ryobi stuff is 9 years old and works just as great as it did on day 1.

      • I don't know how old my Ryobi circular saw and angle grinder are but they're the old blue ones from the pre lithium battery era

Anyone know of an Ozito battery to Bosch pro adapter?

    • +1

Was just about to ask this also

    • Just google for Einhell (which is the European name for Ozito) to Bosch adapter and you should get heaps of hits. You can even print your own adapter.

  • Any one use the 5.2ah battery? Does it actually have more go? How about 3ah vs 4ah? I have 3ah from a couple of garden kits and wonder if a bigger pack will give more power.

    • It will have the same voltage so won’t make your power tools faster / stronger.

Use the amp hour rating to proportionally compare the battery life.

    • The 5.2Ah still looks to be 18650 based so it's unlikely to be much, if at all. Unless they happen to be using some really nice high current cells.

If you are keen enough (read: bothered) to try for more grunt you could try getting the Aldi 8Ah battery for the same price and then the effort/time or cost to get an adapter to use it with Ozito tools.

From our usage some tools do fine with smaller batts eg impact driver, drills. Ones like chain saw, angle grinder almost won't run on a 1.5ah. Rattle gun too is pretty gutless and will cut out with less than a 3ah.
        The 3ah have 10x 1.5ah cheap LG cells. 4ah have 10x 2ah
        Samsung cells.
        1.5ah have 5x LG cells , 2ah have 5x Samsung.
        2.5ah have 5x 2.5ah Samsung
        5.2ah have 10x 2.5ah Samsung.
This if from one's I've pulled apart. There's only 4x torx screws holding them together, so pull them apart and look ;)

  • One more pack at Auburn. On the counter

  • These are probably matching the Aldi 8ah battery for $99

  • good deal

  • just bought the 4ah battery on special last month. Do you think I can return it and buy this one?

  • Anyone in inner SE Melb want to split this?

  • Kingsgrove has 3 packs left.

  • I couldn't help my self "bang" straight to the pool room.

    Thank you for sharing this.

I am always looking for the 5ah batteries to come on special never happens.

Has any one else seen them on special

Bought the 36V Brushless Blower about 12 months ago for $30 and been waiting for a good deal on Batteries and Chargers. Got this.

    • Haha yes! I happened to be in Bunnings and saw it on the shelf and snapped it up right then and there! Was for the old man for last Xmas. Now I can tell him his batteries are on sale for it as he hasn’t used it yet! Lol

      • Got up this morning to find my order cancelled. Looked closer and it was replaced by two single battery and charger kits with 50% discount. They were out of the twin kits apparently. Very happy with that.

  • their website says no stock at Scoresby but there were 4 in store late this afternoon top shelf behind the tool shop register

    • After I found my order had been changed I called them and the guy explained what he had done. Said I got a better deal than the two battery kit because I was getting the fast chargers. I told him both are the same charger. He then said that he could not find the deal on the website. Probably had the twin kit but he just couldn't find them. Site even now, says they are in stock at the Lawnton, Qld. store.

    • I wonder if one of those is mine. Am still waiting for the message to collect.

  • How many blowers does a person need? I have, or will have soon, seven. Smallest (2) are Opolar USB units for delicate work, a 240 volt small one, an 18 volt AEG, two Black and Decker 240 volt blower/vacs.(never use the vac part) and the 36 volt Ozito.

  • Thanks. Got one pack in Cairns

  • Anyone wanna split one in Melbourne West? Keen on just one.

  • Anybody here got a spare one in Melbourne they would like to sell? I just need one.

  • In stock at Robina if anyone interested.
