Go for it if you don't mind getting ZERO customer support. By far, the worst telecom company I had dealt with in Australia.
Optus has an inability to look after customers locally, ie local call centers, so when you actually speak to someone regarding technical issues that you have time and time again problem solved and it only points to faulty hardware, they refuse to send you new hardware and have you re-do what you have already done.

- can you still do data sharing?
- does it come with Optus hub (I think it's only postpaid right?)
- can you get esim? (or is that postpaid only)

Unmetered streaming is gone if your talking about Spotify, Netflix. However on postpaid they have endless data after you finish your data allowance for the month.
Data sharing is possible only on postpaid but not this.

Yes you can have esim for prepaid. You have to visit a store for this.
When does this need to be activated by?
I know it finishes tomorrow to buy it, but how long do I have to activate it please?
