Good price for a highly praised surround system. Was looking into getting a good small system and narrowed it down to this or the Tannoy hts 101. Both have 5 stars at whathifi.com. (http://www.whathifi.com/review/wharfedale-dx-1hcp) Problem with the Tannoys is they have to be imported. So went into Rio the other day to have a listen to these and they had just put them on sale. At $630 l think they are a steal. Mind you, they are small, so they will sound great in a small room, but don't bother for anything larger, they just don't have the drive. Also sound decent with music. I came from floor standers to these, and although they can never compare to floor standers, they have a darn good try at it. Also check out there other sale items, I'm no audiophile so l can not tell you what else is a bargain or not.

20% off RRP is OK and I'm sure the speakers are fine, but I personally would never buy anything from Rio.
I went in recently with cash ready to spend but the salesman couldn't be shagged letting me audition the combo of amp + speakers I was considering. All the bits were available and there weren't any other customers. Just plain lazy so I went elsewhere.
