Make sure you have notifications on (read the fine print).

I recently tried to get my $60 for a 300+ spend from august, but after calling them up a number of times, emailing them evidence that I have notifications turned on and was getting those notifications, they still never credited me, even after saying multiple times that they would.

    • Same, the $20 store credit code they sent me had $0 credit. I’ve been waiting a month for a reply from TGG concierge for a resolution, they cbf responding.

@metalslaw Same, supposed to get my $80 for over $440+ spend for Click & Collect Online Offer with No Claim required in October. Credit supposed to be sent to your email but never received it. I did subscribe to their marketing materials & have been getting their marketing emails but not the $80 credit email. What a scammer & false advertiser The Good Guys…more like the Bad Guys! Contacted them via online message exactly 3 weeks ago but never received a reply. Tried calling and have been transferred to 5 people with no help :( The next step would be ACCC I think.

  • How long is the validity of this store credit?
    Thanks

    • If previous TGG store credits are anything to go by, it will be 7 days. Also it sometimes get filtered into your spam folder so you won’t even realise you have received it.

        thanks.
I have never bought any 2 items from TGG in one week :(

Don’t worry, they normally send out the store credit codes at least 2-3 weeks after the promotion ends.

I got sucked into the concierge thing. It's absolute bullcrap what they offer.

Every 'store credit' promotion has stupid offers like 'spend $300-$900 and get X amount store credit'

Then when they send it they apply a further condition. 'expires in 7 days and only if you spend $500+'

So when they offer 'Spend $300 get $50 store credit' they are giving it to you but they then attach further unrealistic terms and conditions to it. It's not as if they have given you a gift card to the value promised.

FURTHER to this, anytime you use a promo code or store credit they then limit the way you can pay. Such as removing Afterpay option etc.

  • I got this last time when I bought a Tv, spend $X get a $100 store voucher, got the voucher and it expired in 7 days from date of issue.. but if a joke getting a voucher which can only be used in 7 days!

      See my comment above

I'm looking for a Bose 700. Last week their price was $397. Now it is $445

  • I think this is by invitation only and not available to all. I just read the terms.
"From the Friday 3 December 2021 to 17 December selected customers will receive an EDM inviting them to participate in an exclusive offer (Invitee). "
