  • should be about time there is a redmi note with 5G ?

finally getting 5G coverage on my nokia when out and about and optus are building a 5G mini cell on a power pole at the end of my street …..

    • Yes, there is a Redmi Note 10 varient with 5G called the Redmi Note 10 5G

They would have different models to keep price of the regular entry model RN10 4G down as advertising as well as many

people still to prefer to not have 5G to save money/other reasons, and in many areas of the world 5G is still not rolled out, i
      ncluding much of Australia too.

  • super tempting.

but then realise it isn't pro…

      • What does pro do better?

        No NFC?

          Member quakka said =

          Pro has -
Better screen - 120Hz refresh (240 sampling) and slightly bigger and up to 1200 nits
          Better CPU & GPU - SN732G / Adreno 618
Better Cameras rear & front - looks good on specs
          more memory - 6/128
          marginally bigger battery

@WatchNerd: Yep, certainly better in many ways, but is 50%-80% more so in a different leage.

Also the regular Note 10 is smaller and lighter, with plastic back. For some they are pros,

            for others maybe cons.

@ozhunter68: Yes I agree but was just helping answer the question.

Also why I commented below & said this.

@WatchNerd: Sure, all good. Was just adding that for in case someone reading comments can get a ballanced view of this

listed phone. I was really tempted to get the Pro, but there were no good deals at the time, and could not justify

paying nearly double at the time as there was a good deal on this model.

Love your work WatchNerd, much appreciate your attention to detail and fair play.

I am a poor adult, and for me this phone is great too lol.

Been using one since launch + slow China delivery as wanted a White one which was oos, and love this phone.

Nice decently bright Amoled screen ( not the best but great for below $350 phones ), good performance for

regular use, and battery goes for ages easy 2 days + if not on it all day.

similar price 6 months ago albeit now AUD weakens

I guess the question is whether this is the best value unlocked $200 phone at the moment?

    • +3

By a golden mile, nothing else comes close for performance, camera and value.

  • just in time for xmas present.

  • Ordered this and still waiting.. courier said they got a consignment note but still waiting for the product. Contacted Banggood twice and just keeps saying i should trust them and it will be delivered.. feels dodgy.

Hey mate, I received mine about a week ago. Awesome phone, cannot believe it was $200. This performs well with all games tested and if the only negative is lack of NFC, wow, I wouldn't hesitating buying this model again. Xiaomi are amazing.
