Versatile telephoto zoom is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. A very well reviewed value (not budget) lens for Sony mirrorless cameras. Best price elsewhere I could locate was Parramatta Cameras at high $700-range. Mostly around $860-900 elsewhere new. For comparison's sake, the Sony G 70-300mm lens is around $1900 RRP, and is bigger and heavier. This would have to be the long range zoom of choice for anyone short of professionals.

Also has a 67mm lens thread, so owners of the Tamron 28-75mm should have no issue moving accessories and filters from one lens to another.

  Worth noting that these guys are grey import. The higher prices you are seeing would be from local stockists with proper manufacturers warranty.

  You can get it from Georges Cameras for $730.15 plus delivery, with full warranty. I'd prefer to get it from an authorised retailer.

    I have the Sony 24-240 as well. I know I could google a comparison between this lens and the Sony, but is there anyone on here who has some real-world experience with both lenses and could provide some commentary on this, please?

    I'll let you know when it arrives, but a search of CCC Warehouse on Ozbargain doesn't indicate anything in that vein.
