No stacking. Pick one or the other.

  • I tried to churn to AB and they spent 24 hours unable to connect me or problem solve the issue despite being connected with another ISP directly before and directly after cancelling the churn.

Support staff did what they could but they must have some seriously ducky network setup.

This deal is good, but be aware their prices are about $10-20 more expensive per month compared with the competition after your free month, so if you stay with them for more than 4-5 months its not a good deal

    • Yes 10$ more for the 50/20 compared to Superloop and Superloop is probably as or even better than AB.

Just an FYI before you recommend them…

      • After being with ABB for years I decided for a change. Went Superloop cause I wanted the "best ping" for gaming and found the ping 3m/s better in off peak BUT during peak hour would be up to 20m/s worse.

Just my experience but I'll probably go back after the 6months so I can get a discount again :p

      • Churning out of superloop after 2 years with them. Clueless support who work 5 days a week during business hours. And frequent dropouts. The last 6 months have been horrendous.

  • This promo code is not valid for me. My NBN service with Aussie Broadband was 11 months ago.

  • hasn’t been an authorised contact, residing at the same address as the primary contact…

Doesn't this mean you'll be eligible if you register the new account under another household member?

shhhh, dont give away the loop holes ;)

  • Anyone know when this deal will end? Hoping this will still be around when my free swoop internet expires in 2 months.

    • Highly likely to still be around, but you can order for a future date, so order now.

  • One month free feels like a bait and switch to me. What reward do loyal customers receive, why wouldn't I swap next year to someone else offering similar?

    • why wouldn't I swap next year

Why wouldn't you swap after a month? You are your limit!

  • What happened to the ABB fanboys, in years gone by this would have 200+ votes and propaganda-esq comments flood in.

    • service gone downhill heaps, glad i got out recently.

      • Who is the best now - service wise? Superloop's outage notifications and inability to get a customer service rep on the phone within 45 minutes have me looking for a change

        • launtel.. u can speak to service rep on livechat pretty much around the clock, plus you can get a static ip for free (you only need to deposit $100 which you can get back after you leave). Also they charge by days, so you could switch to a 1000/40 plan for a week, then switch back to 100/40 another week quite easily/instantly.

  • Since they went public, they no longer answer to ozb but shareholders in general, fair to say most ozb aren't shareholders and giving out freebies is the opposite of profit and revenue needed to please the fundies.

  • More expensive, service gone downhill they're a repeat of telstra since going public.

  • Damn their service is expensive.

  • This didn’t work for relocating customer FYI

  • $99 connection fee for opticomm services. Yuk.

  • No longer valid (new service, just moved in)

  • Offer seemed to have expired
