Noticed on the ShopBack app, thought it would be good to share…

-Cashback is not applicable for Playstation 5, Playstation 5 Digital Edition and Xbox Series X

      Doesn’t say anywhere that purchases with GC are ineligible. Could potentially double dip. But also just getting it to track any purchase is already a roll of the dice… so that may be pushing it.

        I think the conditions should be clearer gotyourback. I realise it is up to the merchant to decide what they do and do not honour from a cashback perspective, but I do think it should be black and white as to whether the redemption of gift cards is or is not allowed.

          It says in his quote of the t&cs that gift cards are not allowed. It's hardly ambiguous.

            @jetblack: It says it's not eligible on purchasing gift cards, quite different than paying with a gift card.

            @jetblack: No it doesn't, it says that you can't get cashback on buying TGG gift cards, not that you can't get cashback when using them for a purchase of a tangible item.

        As a store representative can you please give a more formal answer, with a link to where this is presented in writing? This will influence a lot of buying decisions because GC + SB = great discount, but if they are mutually exclusive then consumers may choose one or the other.

      Keep in mind TGG only allow max 2 gift cards per transaction online. IMO you're better off buying the 15% off ultimate home GCs (if you can get some) and then go into store and ask them what the best price they can do is (don't have the stress of worrying about tracking then)
