Obviously this is not going to fit in anyone's mail box.

Are you purchasing goods that only fit in your mailbox?

    What is the normal price

  • Looks to be half of RRP from this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/588350

Awsome thanks OP, plenty available for stores around the home.

We have the 110L version and they are super tuff and ice last forever in them.

    Hinges and handles crack easily

    • Username checks out.

  • what's the difference between this and a normal esky (ie. the hard plastic ones)?

    • Probably a sightly longer time the ice lasts? though i think most eskys would have enough ice for the day out anyway. Some hard core campers want the ice to last 2 days .

2 days car camping, so hardcore

      • thanks mate, that does sound impressive…

      • lol…. a quality esky stored in the right conditions should have ice last for several days.

    • You can sit or stand on these without the lid caving in.

  • It's free in store?

This is pretty much the sweet spot for a slab of cans with ice.

You can probably squeeze in 4-6 more cans if you forgo the bulk of the ice.

  • I’m still sad about missing out on the 46L IceKool deal for $99 from anaconda a few weeks ago. I rang and got a rain check initiated but heard nothing since. I contacted about 6 other retailers and all refused to price match.

    • You should give them a call.

    • So i got one of those from anaconda the other week and im 99% sure this rydge ryder one is identical but with slightly different branding on it. Like, every single part of it is identical from what i can see, hooks, hinges, drainage plug, and matterial/shape. Used it last two weekends in a row, seems pretty decent i dunno about their claim of 6 days. But ive loaded it up with 5x of the large coleman ice bricks on the bottom (which is like a perfect fit within mm's) and food+drinks and a bag of ice and after 3 days still had a TINY bit of ice left in there but still fairly cold.

6 days is probably achievable if you carve a solid block of ice to fit perfectly then never open the lid ;)

      • Thanks, that’s interesting. I wonder if the insulation filling is any different.

I wish manufacturers were transparent about this stuff. It’s probably the same thing. But probably not.

  • Paid $129 and thought I was getting a good deal. You won’t see cheaper than this I’m pretty sure. As said previously it’s good for 2-3 days. Better results if drinks kept in a seperate esky.
