Hello, Nosefrida the Snot Sucker is the perfect companion to help you and your baby get through Winter Colds.

When a baby is affected by a cold its a horrible feeling, your baby is stuffed up and they unfortunately are too young to blow their own nose, one of the only things you can do is to alleviate their symptoms as medicine at such an early age is not an option.

That's why Nosefrida is so popular, its works..

We are the number 3 selling baby product on Amazon over thousands of baby products.

Nosefrida is the perfect gift for a New born baby or a mother who is expecting a child.

NoseFrida is a nasal aspirator that reduces the amount of mucous in the nose.
When your child is congested, NoseFrida helps clear their nose, enabling them to breathe, feed and sleep easier. This safe, hygienic and easy-to-use aspirator has been tested by ear, nose and throat specialists. In addition, studies have shown that the hygiene filter eliminates any risk of bacterial transfer from your child to you. Created in Sweden, the NoseFrida has been used in Europe and the US by many satisfied parents.

NoseFrida FAQs
How do I use NoseFrida?

See instruction sheet for step by step guide.

Will I get the cold my baby has?

No. The hygiene filter prevents mucous transfer from child to user. Please review the clinical studies and bacterial evaluations.

Is NoseFrida safe to use for someone with allergies?

Yes. NoseFrida is made of non-allergenic and latex-free polypropylene. The blue filter consists of moisture absorbing polyurethane.

Is NoseFrida safe to use on newborns?

Yes. NoseFrida is designed to be safe and effective for newborns as well as toddlers.

Why is NoseFrida better than other aspirators on the market?

NoseFrida is better and safer, since you never put anything inside the nose, and you control the amount of suction you apply. It does not irritate the sensitive lining of the nose. Children tolerate NoseFrida better than other aspirators.

I am concerned about the recent warnings about plastics. Is NoseFrida safe?

NoseFrida contains NO phtalates, which have been linked to health risks when used in baby bottles, pacifiers and other baby items. It is manufactured in accordance with the European Union environmental regulations and is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

How do I clean my NoseFrida?

NoseFrida should be detached from the tubing and washed with warm water and soap and allowed to dry. Hygiene filters should be changed after each use.

I took the tube apart for washing, and now it won't stay attached.

The tube has to be pushed very hard until you hear it snap into place. There is a groove inside that makes the 2 pieces fit together snugly.

I know my child has mucous but nothing comes out. How do I get the really thick stuff out?

First, try 1 - 2 saline drops in each nostril, wait one minute and then apply suction. Try rotating the NoseFrida in a circular motion against the child's nostril. You will hear some sounds when the mucous starts to come out.

Does the NoseFrida aspirator include filters?

Yes, 4 filters are included, but it's recommended that the filter be changed with each use. Extra filter bags are $5.95 for a 20 filter bag. Buy Online.

Where is NoseFrida manufactured?

NoseFrida is manufactured by Nasalprodukter AB in a modern factory in Malmo, Sweden.

  • "If mucous is very thick or crusty, please insert 1-2 drops of saline solution and then apply suction."

    WTF

    • Hheheh, thats why it's called the SNOTSUCKER..but seriously

What I do is put my daughter in the shower for about 5 mins with the door closed and it works a treat, loosens all the mucous and bobs your uncle..

    • I raise your WTF with a WTF are you saying WTF to a simple to understand statement?

  • +8

I'm lost are we both talking about the World Therapeutic Foundation commonly known as WTF..

For the record the Snotsucker is registered with the World Therapeutic Foundation in both Australia, New Zealand and America, for more info please go to the website

    • Well played

    • Agreed. Well played sir.
Prior to having a kid with a snotty nose who wont sleep I would have reacted the same way.

I vote this as an epic thread

    • I'm with you on that one, I'm already sending this onto friends

I was OK until the part where it said "apply suction". It's a baby snot drinking straw!

    • You betcha, you can either use it with the filter or without for full Snot effect..

Saw these at the baby expo in Melbourne last weekend.
The wife, and the rep manning the booth didn't appreciate me making a slurping noise and chuckling to myself during his demo.
My apologies to the staff member that manned the booth. I thought it was hella funny.

All jokes aside, when your kid cant take a dummy because their nose is blocked and can't breathe, and wont sleep as a result, snot suckers are a god send.

Try not sleeping for a week, and having a continually grizzling child for that same period of time. You'll slurp a booger if it meant you got some sleep too.

        • Wicked and thanks for the great compliments, its bloody good device, I got involved after my baby was clogged up and this was the only thing that helped her out..

By the way that was me and I definitely would have thought it was classic, unless it was on the Sunday when I had a massive hangover..Love Melbourne though, great people and 30 degrees everyday, the place was rocking , is there any chance you can do a little write up on some of those baby websites when you have time..

The feedback I got was that bulbs were a bloody nightmare from over 500 mums.

          cheers for the good feedback

  • I'm don't feel terribly assured by their clinical studies evaluating bacteriological transfer, considering that the common cold is caused by a virus, not bacteria.

    • I'll forward on your comments to the World Therapeutic Foundation (WTF) and thanks for the input.

    • Odds are that if you are in close proximity to coughing, spluttering, oozing snot monster… you'll already have the same illness.

  • This is a perfect gift for parents with newborn. Forget about the other suction device, I think the hose sometimes is too stiff/sharp for little nose.
This one doesn't have pointy end, in fact, you don't need to insert into the nose.
The idea may sound gross, but like Gish said, when you have a baby with a cold, you'll do anything.

    • Thanks for the compliments, I just took over the brand and I have a long way to go, for me its a really good device that works well and saved my kids through winter..

If you get a chance and the time could you please write something in the forums for the Aussie mums to know about the product

  • We use something similar, except it has a bulb on the end so you squeeze the bulb insert into the baby's nose and release. It works reasonably well and is a life saver.

The "World Therapeutic Foundation"!? You just made that up. No such thing that google ever heard of, though I expect it will soon point to this thread. Or am I missing a joke?

(BTW, Why no pictures of the device? Because it is basically just a plastic tube. One end in baby's nose, the other in your mouth.
    $16 for that? )

Mums who really love their babies do it the old-fashioned way :-)

    • Yes you are missing the joke, the World Therapeutic Foundation is sometimes known at WTF, also known as What The $%$%*..

Yes its a plastic tube, a plastic tube that has filters and designed by ear nose and throat specialists and used by over 500,000 happy parents every year.

The old fashioned way is usually putting your hand over the mouth and sucking the snot out through the nose, I'd pay double $16 so I didn't have to do that, actually for me it would be more a question of zeros at the end of the price…

  • Great device that gets consistently good reviews on Amazon, but you probably should mention that shipping starts from an additional $6.50 in the title. I've had one in my Amazon basket for weeks, waiting for a time when it would let me ship it to Australia. I gather now that there is an official Australian distributor, that won't likely happen. In which case, can you help out with a couple of questions;

    1) The unit on Amazon comes included with 20 filters for approx.$15. How many filters are included with the Australian Snotsucker?
    2) I see you sell additional filter packs for $5. How many filters are included in these?
    3) edit- Oh and how do we order to take advantage of the reduced shipping rate for ordering 3 packs of filters (particularly if we want the sucker as well)?

Thanks and good luck with the product in Aus!

    • Yes but it will be in the stores soon enough and you will be able to pick it up without the shipping, let me know where you live and I will sort out a Pharmacy near you as a priority.

The Shipping I can't do anything about, that's Australia posts charge, I don't make anything off it, I actually lose as Paypal takes a cut.

      1) It comes with 4, I actually didn't know you could buy new filters when i bought my original Nosefrida and I used to wash them(they are sponge) 2 kids later and still have 2 filters left, changing filters are a personal decision, some people change all the time but its not necessary.

      2) 24 filters

      3) Just order one set of filters and email me and I'll chuck the other 2 sets in for free. How does that sound?

      Cheers for the best wishes..

      • can I get in on that offer too?

        • Yes of course, I love Oz bargainers..just let me know via email, cheers

Remember, if you don't ask you don't get, its the Oz bargains motto me thinks..

        • thanks, have just put an order through and sent an email to orders.

  • There are lots of similar bulb shaped snot sucking devices for babies/toddlers. We use one and it's great. They are less than $10 from the chemist.

    e.g.

    • I worked the Melbourne baby and Toddler show this weekend and I must have spoken to at least 500-700 mums over the course of three days.

The common response was that bulbs worked but they are intrusive and a common complaint was they were violent, meaning the whole experience was a violent one, holding the kids head between there legs and hit and miss if it actually worked or not.

I got this email about 1 minute ago from a happy parent and it sums up almost every parent I speak to..

"Hi Nosefrida, just letting you know we've used the Nosefrida now and its very effective! My son hates anything near his nose(we've been using fess and tried the bulb aspirator which used to upset him) but now its a lot easier and NF works, thanks for sending the order so quickly.."

The bottom line is there are many options but this is the leading brand throughout the world because it works and its non violent meaning kids do not feel afraid.
