    Hello, whilst hanging around with the site open a window popped up saying "Use code CUSTOMER10 for a one-time special discount" or something along those lines but at checkout it said the code isn't valid for this item (it was the rug). Might I recommend changing the pop-up so it doesn't show for items it can't apply to? I think this would be a lot more intuitive

        Thank you but I'm aware, I'm saying it's a bit misleading to frame it as a "special, one-time" discount when it's not special enough to be used on the item I was browsing when the code was displayed.

        To avoid dissatisfaction it could help to change the pop-up to only show up with non-sale items, as it seems the code excludes items already discounted.

        The current system is indicative of poor design so I'm offering feedback for you to improve your site/business as these sorts of things can lead people to think a company is dodgy

        I also do wish you'd try a bit harder to engage with the people that have problems with your company or its products, rather than putting three condescending emojis poking fun at them and calling it done for the day (as demonstrated when clicking on the link for the rug deal)
