  • Does this one support android apps?

    • +1

      Yes

    • +1

Yes, it does, through the Google Play Store. If you want/need to sideload, it's a bit of a process, but possible to do (requires enabling Linux and using developer debugging to sideload through adb).

    • Majority of apps, but not all

  • nice Chromebook, bought one last sale PB at OW for ~$270, heaver that I thought and double the thickness of my galaxy TAB but the keyboard is nice. probably would not pay over $300 for it

    • +3

It is the same thickness as a TAB, at just over 7mm.
Try removing the magnetic back cover/stand :-)

These were $275 on Amazon and many other sites 2 weeks ago. Just letting everyone know if they are able to wait.

  • +2

Same as others, paid ~$275 last deal. Really dislike the keyboard's connection to the tablet, it feels really flimsy.

  • +1

Wouldn't pay over $300 for this one, this model is getting a bit long in the tooth now.

But it has 7 more years of updates left to go!

      • support and updates are interesting terms , you’d like to think that updates means new features and innovation, vs support which is just bug fixes or security patches …….

  • +1

Really good for GeForce Now. Somehow geforce now on chromeos runs better than safari on iOS, and the native Android GeForce now app. I think for me it’s this or the surface go for a mini GeForce now platform

    • Surface Go is nicer but like double the price with keyboard.

    • Yeah it's great for streaming. I tried game pass cloud streaming today using the Android app with onscreen controls and the games run great. Otherwise it isn't the smoothest device, but for simple media consumption and basic productivity it's perfect.

  • Sub $280 or no

  • bought one a month ago at OW for $277,
    very good budget 2-in-1 but some issues need to beware of;
    1, the WiFi-Bluetooth Interference,
2, not all android app ar compatible.

  • Purchased this also at last months sales for mum.
Videos recorded at 1080P on my G9 play with flashing/flickering stripes on this unit. Viewing 1080P videos via YouTube does no have this issue.
    Lenovo support unable to help.
Anyone her have the same issue? Know a solution?

    • They can't help if you don't say what codec you are using. Maybe codec not supported by P60 ?
      (and what is a g9? motorola? lumix? … )

    • Install mxplayer ( I have pro) use the HD codec (DL the zip file) use the player to load the codec and play anything you want.

It plays everything I have, mp4, mkv, x264 x265, FTA TV streams from my raspberryPi.

      Ssmba from my pc shares.

If it's in the same location as my phone I don't need to PW unlock it and it's great to receive and send txt messages from my phone using the chromebook. Much better than windows companion b.s.

I had a weird touch screen issue where a box portion in the middle of the screen wouldn't pick up my touches. A tip on the forums suggested to sign out and sign back in fixed it. I haven't side loaded anything cause I have no need to… yet.

    • I checked, and the P60 in the Duet should do 4K both VP9 and h264.

But why 4K? You should be warned that while you can get hdmi-out over usb-C, it isn't brilliant. I can't even get a QHD monitor to work at native res.

  • Bought this last year for my kid. Just out of warranty now and they keyboard doesn't work. They don't sell spares.

Otherwise it's an OK device. Laggy sometimes for Zoom

    • So i guess you bought a small bluetooth keyboard for it?

  • Doesn't have gps which was a bit of a letdown.
