  • Some items has used or near new with lowered price (still show sending by amazon warehouse). Are they still considered for cashback?

    Thanks.

  • Sweet! Bought Lego Bonsai and Centre Perk sets

  • Anyone any ideas on this Bosch Rotak 36: normally 499.00 So $400 with 20%. : searches under garden bring this item up but it also comes up under home improvement

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Bosch-AdvancedRotak36-Cordless-Law…

  • Is it ok to buy items shipped and sold by Amazon UK or US if bought on Amazon AU?

    • +2

As long as you purchase through Amazon AU, it won't matter who the seller is.

      • Hey, do items under the 'Toys & Game' category count as eligible? such as board games

        • +2

          Absolutely.
Just be sure to look at the category in the top-left of the page (on desktop) + the category mentioned in the "Best Sellers Rank".
This will give you a solid understanding on what category the item falls under.

          • @gotyourback: I bought a backpack, however I got a much lower rate than 20%.
            I bought this item https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B002PI7NWI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g…

            Can I get help please?

            • @67Gateway: Hi 67Gateway, that product falls under "Sports & Outdoors".

That category is only offering 6% at this time.

              • @gotyourback: On the top left breadcrumbs, it's "Clothing, Shoes & Accessories›Luggage & Travel Gear›Backpacks›Casual Daypacks"

So, that is not part of "Luggage & Backpacks"?

                Very confusing, I think

                • @67Gateway: Agreed that it's very confusing.
We've asked Amazon for a simple way to identify Categories but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

If you look at the top left, you'll see the category "Sports & Outdoors" next to "Deals" and "Bestsellers".

I'm 99% sure that's the overarching category of the product.

                  Cheers!

                  • @gotyourback: Thank you for that, I guess nothing we can do for this.
Not sure if I am going to to cancel the order or not…

                    Cheers

  • Does it need to be shipped & sold by Amazon?

  • +1

Used this with the AMEX Black Friday spend $100 get $20 back promo to bring an item down from $165 to $111.

    NICE

  • Anyone know what the cap or limit for this is?

    • +1

      No cap on this promo.

      • Can you make multiple transactions?

        • Absolutely.
Just be sure to exit & re-enter through our links between each transaction.

  • Says only 7%?

    • Where?

  • +1

I wouldn't buy lego until shopback confirms 20% uncapped on it

    • Yeah confirm GYB ty .

      and I'll be a broke vegemite .

    • @GotYourBack please confirm if Lego and uncapped?

      • What's this "automatic discount at checkout"? Is that different to a reduced price?

        • It refers to items that have an automatically applied coupon code.

          • @gotyourback: So are items with an automatically applied coupon at checkout still available for cash back? I do not want to buy the item if this isn't the case?

Also, I'm spewing I missed out on 20% cash back on my Lego purchases last night!

            • +1

@kimba88: That's correct, you will still be eligible for Cashback according to Amazon.

I'm sorry you missed out last night.
Can you not cancel the order & redo it through our links?

              • @gotyourback: Oh awesome. That's good to know I'll still get 20% cash back on an item that has the 20%coupon applied at check out! That seems like a real bargain!

I'm unsure if it will then get rid of my $5 promo credit from the $75 spend a couple of weeks back if I refund. I used it last night, but I'm unsure they would refund that component.

                • @kimba88: According to Amazon, that should stack :)

                  Ah I see.
If you do re-buy, just be sure to avoid applying that promo credit as it'll invalidate Cashback.

                  • @gotyourback: On your shop page it does not state anywhere that Promo credit/ Amazon Credit will invalidate cashback.

                    https://www.shopback.com.au/amazon-australia

Besides how do I know if Promo Credit has been used on an order?
I have checked my invoices and they all state "Giftcard payment"

                  • @gotyourback: OK, but I can use my gift card credit and still get the 20% cash back?

OK, so I just purchased some work showles that had the 20% coupon applied at checkout. I bought 2 pairs, but Amazon only applied 20% off for one pair. On top of that I should get shopbacks 20% cash back on the 2 pairs. And cos the 2 pairs came to over $100, I should get $20 cash back on my Amex. Should be approx $110 for 2 pairs of $130 shoes ($260rrp) . Not too bad at all.

                    • @kimba88: Correct :)

You'll get 20% on the order value (minus GST).
If you have any issues, just reach out to me via DM.

                      Cheers!

          • @gotyourback: Yep.. But it's only those items with an automatic coupon, right?

Items on normal sale arent included?

            Eg: this is EXcluded https://www.amazon.com.au/LEGO-76193-Guardians-Spaceship-Min…

    • +1

If we don't specify a cap, there is no cap.

  • +2

Gee - have been on a shopping spree with Amazon over the last two weeks for presents and now nothing else I need to get. They really know how to hookwink you to buy more…

    • I'm buying kids toys for friends for next and next next year haha, there's some that aren't even suitable for their age yet so I'll bank that for later!

  • Does packing cubes count under luggage and backpack category?

    • The category will be visible if you look at the desktop site.

  • -1

Nice- thanks for posting the deal. Bought a pair of 9.5 wide Rockports for $34.20 minus 20% cashback.

I'm becoming a little "Imelda" with the amount of shoes I own, but it can't hurt, can it, and it's a STEAL!

  • I think Amazon jack the price for some legos on Amazon already.

    • I reckon If the deal isn't a fairy tale .
You'd have the best buying of the year hehe :)

  • -1

Does this available to third party items?

    • Yes it is.

  • +1

    When does this expire?

    • +1

      today

  • anyone know if Clothing, Shoes & Accessories will come under Apparel ?

    • It will depend on the item.
Refer to this comment on how to identify the product category if needed.

  • -2

Ok guys here we go my read : Amazon Sale/Promo Code

Products eligible for an automatic-discount at checkout are eligible for Cashback.

So any product without a auto discount at checkout is ineligible

Very few eligible items : (

And nice try by em lol :)

    • Shhhhh

    • I don't think that's what it means mate.

    • +2

I don't think you're on the right track with that one…

  • Anyone get toys 20% tracking as my read could be wrong and be part of the eligible categories ?

    • +1

Bought a lego set ~3 hours ago, hasn't tracked yet.

      • As usual, Amazon tracking can take up to 4 days.
I've found that it typically tracks after Amazon confirms fulfilment.

        • I bought shoes, apparel, and toys and just got an email confirming tracking - as ZERO! This seems incorrect how can I get it checked?

          • @KSyd: This just happened to me as well… tracked as zero

            • @ultrasonix: Likewise, same has happened to me too on a purchase from earlier today on a gardening and it was definitely a valid purchase but has tracked as zero. Don't usually face this when buying from Amazon. Not sure whether to cancel and try again or keep waiting.

  • Anyone know if GamesWorkshop stuff is in this promo? It does show up in the toys section.

  • -1

Price has already been jacked… at least I've seen one.

    • We've asked Amazon about this before. It's not price jacking.

They obviously have a ridiculous number of re-sellers on there with auto-promotions running.
If the promotion expired at 12PM today, it's not jacking, it's just the end of a promo price.

If you think there is a serious case of price jacking by one of their sellers, I would advise reaching out to Amazon directly.

  • Bought it 8-10 hours ago still haven’t receive email to confirm the cashback, hopefully ShopBack is not doing dodgy with this promo

    • I know it's 2021 but these things aren't instant.
Please have some patience as we wait for Amazon to report the order back to us.

If it's not in your account within 4 days, submit a claim and we'll chase it up.

      • +1

just received an email showing that expected cashback = $0.00 , what a joke. All i use is the amazon gift card

        • Happened to me exactly the same

  • Grand Piano was reasonable price before cashback and great price after cashback. Price jacked now.

    • Highly doubt any items were purposely jacked for a shopback cashback offer as shopback users account for like 0.5% of total sales

  • how to tell what category an item is under?

    • Have a look at the desktop website

    • You can refer to this comment.

      Cheers!

  • Are board games included under the toys category?

  • Does the lawnmower qualify for the cashback?

    • Please refer to this comment on how to identify the product category.

      Cheers!

Price Jack! yesterday Russell Athletic Men's Cotton Performance Short Sleeve T-Shirt Medium $11.64. Today $13.40

    • I though Myers $199 was :)
      Maybe price wise .

      • No more, retires this yr

        • We knew that back then that why I attack it .
The price you have is no go .
I still waiting for anyone to confirm a 20% tracked toy sale or GYB to confirm all toys .

          • @popsiee: I agree but what choice is there now, if you just started though.

  • +1

Are weber bbq part of 20% "lawn & Gardening" categories?

    • Please refer to this comment on how to identify the product category.

      Cheers!

  • Sorry just to further confirm as i am very confused with the automatic discount at checkout.

Bought the Harry Potter Castle 71043 but it appears that Amazon applied $5.99 automatic promotion credit (i think it is the free shipping cost of $5.45 + GST) when i check out the item. Am i still eligible for the cashback?

      • Store Repgotyourback 1 hour 33 min agonew
@kimba88: That's correct, you will still be eligible for Cashback according to Amazon.

I'm sorry you missed out last night.
Can you not cancel the order & redo it through our links?

But here shopback said still eligible. DId i miss out anything?

    • @gotyourback

Cashback ineligible for purchases with the use of any Codes entered MANUALLY in the 'Promo Code' Field.

So i assume the automatic promo credit for shipping will be eligible?

      • +1

Correct, any auto-codes will not impact Cashback according to Amazon.

        • Thank you. Appreciate your reply.

Must be a tough day for you to reply so many questions.

          • @pearlxoxo: No worries :)

Not too many questions, I'm just at a company off-site so I'm a little delayed today.
I apologise for the lagged response.

  • @gotyourback sorry i am confused

  • Has anyone purchases tracked? I bought lego last night and it still not tracked.

  • +1

    what does this mean?

    DOs

Products eligible for an automatic-discount at checkout are eligible for Cashback.

    • GYB seems to be avoiding that question m8 .

      • I know….very confusing…
