Damn, just bought toys as gifts for nieces/nephews

    • Doing the same right now.

Can you use eGift cards with these cashbacks?

      • +4

Yes you can pay with amazon giftcard and get the cashback.

        • +1

you sure? so i can get 2% cashback by buying amazon gift card from shopback then claim another 20% cashback for toys by paying with the gift card?
i thought gift card void the cashback

    • Same here. :(

    • +4

not sure if anyone realise this… but things that I have my eyes on, apparently have been jacked up…

      • +1

I think part of it is that there's a limited amount of stock at a certain price (sold by Amazon AU) and once that's sold through it automatically goes to the next seller, usually Jack.

  • +1

    once per account??? or unlimited

  • +18

Oh, hell no. Wife is going to kill me if she sees anymore board games.

    • haha me too. Whats at the top of your wishlist?

      • Yeah, I'm in trouble. Lol. Got games NOT on the wishlist.

I'm particularly keen on Iki, Machi Koro 2, and the latest Res Arcana expansion (not available yet). Still wasn't happy on those final prices so I grabbed Castles of Burgundy, Carpe Diem, London and Santorini: New York. Grabbed Just One for the wife, lol.

    • Are board games captured under the toys category? Are they eligible?

      • "Board Games" is a subcategory within the "Toys and Games" category, meaning it's the same category. For comparison, look at Lego and it is in the subcategory "Toy Building Sets" within that larger "Toys and Games" category, and that's eligible.

Also, checking out the sales ranking within "Toys and Games" will show you Lego products as well as tabletop games on that one list.

Besides, there isn't any other category on Shopback's description where tabletop games would go other than "Toys."

    • Not sure if Board games are included since i think they are under 'Games' within the 'Toys & Games' category.

This seems to be strictly for toys, thats how i read it anyway

    • @gotyourback Instead of my deductive reasoning into the matter, can you please confirm if tabletop games are eligible for 20% cashback?

  • 20% off already discounted Lego sets? Really? I would believe it's real if it's a capped promotion or came with some sort of limits/restrictions.

    • Was going to ask is 20% including any Lego set ? Or is there some sort of catch we don’t know about?

      • +1

Many of the Lego sets I checked (particularly the expensive sets $500+) have inflated prices at the moment so 20% cashback isn't worth it.

Try looking at this list of sets that are discounted on Amazon as 20% cashback on these makes for some great bargains.

        • +2

Don't buy retired sets on Amazon. Some sets including the Piano, batmobile 1989, assembly square, and some architecture and Ninjiago sets are pretty good after 20% off.

          • +1

@zn7726: As you've listed there are some decent value sets available, for example:

10255 is $244 after cashback which is a good price by $20 or so from usual discounted prices. You have to go back to 2018 to find a $239 deal beating this price.

76139 is $278 after cashback which was marginally cheaper as recently as August. It's still not a bad price if you need it now.

            • @dhx: 76139 rumoured to be retiring this month so good price to grab it now.

              • +3

                @abc12345: rumoured
                is

But I wouldn't base buying on the extra cashback as previous SB unlimited cashback deals have been huge failures .
                So no buy .
Only buy items happy with price before cashback .

            • @dhx: I bought 76139 for $272 last week in the Target sales. Huge box arrived this week, must be a bigger set than I realised!

        • +1

Seen some board games getting Jacked in in price last night.

  • i have 5 bonus when spend 15 challange. looks like it's the time

    • +4

      No amazon mate

      • You are right, I realised it when I wake up. Lol

  • +1

Does this qualify for cashback? Search shows Home Improvement but the category underneath says Garden:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08HCTVMLF?pd_rd_i=B08HCTVMLF&p…

  • +2

$206.45 (including 20% cashback) next day delivery for 5x LEGO Classic 11016 (1200pc) is my pick of bargains… only $40 each vs usual price of $60 vs $146 part out via BrickLink

  • Is it uncapped ?

  • +1

Stacks nicely with my 20% off gift cards I got through Amex :D

Got me two of these https://www.amazon.com.au/NER-Elite-2-0-Commander-RD/dp/B083…

    • +1

Had that one in my cart as well, removed and and got with Shopback with the 20-pack refills.

  • I had one of those amazon store-specific coupons, there wasn't even a place to uncheck it n not use it, cashback is probably going to fail now cos I used that right?

  • +2

So lego is eligible for 20% CB? Confirmed?

    • +1

      Keen to confirm this also.

      • +2

Says this at the bottom of the Lego page :

        dditional Information
Customer Reviews: 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,615reviews
Best Sellers Rank: 21 in Toys & Games (See Top 100 in Toys & Games)
19 in Building & Construction Toys.

        Means it’s a toy.
This is for Lego bonsai tree.

        • +1

Lego shows under Toys & Games not just Toys so would it track?

        • I still remember last time when I ordered some AA batteries, it shows under " health & household" on the website and it still is now, but shopback told me they check with Amazon, ACTUALLY "they put it under ELECTRONIC". Even I have a screenshot. It didn't help. Might be just that specific item. Still, Amazon could accidentally put anything under any category.

Does it works on shoes from Amazon US?

  • Does this work for stuff sold overseas by Amazon UK or US? Anyone know?

    • +1

Do you mean things listed on amazon.com.au but shipped from Amazon US/UK?

If so I would say yes, this is from Shopback:
Millions of Items Now Available on Amazon AU from the Amazon Global Store
      Up to 20.00% Cashback

      • Thanks! It seems like there is also a 10% off shoes at checkout on top.

  • Hopefully it will work for this Fjallraven https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B002PI7NWI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g…

    • +1

Just a heads up that there are some great prices on these at The Iconic at the moment, just checked myself

  • it says "up to" 20% - can anyone point me to where it lists what the shopback rate is for each category on amazon????

i cant find the list anywhere

    • When u click on cashback amount after u click on store, it shows category wise cashback percentage.

      • thanks!

  • +2

Or this one: LEGO Creator Expert Bonsai Tree 10281 Building Kit https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08G4PCG8F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g…

  • Can anyone point me in the direction of when this is likely to be paid and is it applicable to multiple transactions, capped etc?

  • Is power washer Deal of the day: Kärcher 16736020 K 2 Power Control High Pressure Washer, 1400 W, 240 V, Yellow https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08R66THFY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…

Considered gardening tool? Or am I pushing it lol

    • Ranked "9,203 in Garden" so presumably would work but I wouldn't hold my breath.

  • +5

Remember to remove $5 promotional credits from $75+ giftcard purchase at the checkout.

    • Sorry but what do you mean?

      • It voids cashback. Giftcard payment valid, but promotional credits not. Some people may have not used it yet.

        • -1

If this is correct, then should be pined or added to OP. would have been pissed to miss on 10s of $ cashback because I used that $5

          • +2

@ShouldIBuyIt: Cashrewards states it clearly. It is better not to risk for high cashback event.

    • +1

Terms state "Cashback ineligible for purchases with the use of any Codes entered manually in the 'Promo Code' Field". The $5 promotional credit applies automatically at checkout per terms of "Products eligible for an automatic-discount at checkout are eligible for Cashback."

      • Yes, it may work. When it comes approval stage, the deal topic would be closed. Hence, not any feedback can be found.

        • I do agree it's not a risk worth taking with cashbacks though!

          • @dhx: I made another purchase using the $5 promotional credits last night. The purchase was tracked and 20% was calculated based on the final purchase price.

    • How do we remove this $5 promo credits?

      • +1

Change payment and then untick the box.

  • +1

Is there a cap to the cash back?

    • +4

      Not on this promo.

      • How long does it last?

        • +3

          Today only :)

          • -1

@gotyourback: Please confirm if tabletop games are "Toys" for cashback purposes.

            • +4

@Jeffie: Depends on the category Amazon puts the product under.
I can't tell if all tabletop games will fall under "Toys".

If you look in the top-leftcorner you'll find the overarching product category.
If you search up "Best Sellers Rank" you'll find the sub-category (if there is one).

You can use these to identify the product category :)

              • +2

@gotyourback: Sorry, perhaps I should have worded that better. If it falls under "Toys and Games" it's eligible for 20%, right? Doesn't matter subcategory as long as it's that main category, correct?

                • +2

@Jeffie: From what Amazon have told us, that's correct :)

                  • @gotyourback: Cheers!

                  • @gotyourback: Will cashback be valid if there is is a $10 discount of Prime Savings auto applied? Cannot unselect it, under item it reads "$10.00 discount applied", and in summary
                    Order Summary
                    Promotion(s) Applied: -$10.00

                    • @chyawala: That shouldn't cause any issues.

                      • @gotyourback: Can you pls answer some of the concerns about t&c's that are in this thread ?

                        • @popsiee: Yep can do, I'm at a company offsite so I've not been as active today.
                          Let me take a look.

                          • -2

@gotyourback: Main one to keep it simple is I buy something in the toy category that doesn't have have any automatic-discount at checkout .
Is this eligible for this cashback ?

                            2) How long should the tracking take ?

                            • +1

@popsiee: I've mentioned this a few times now, you might have missed it.

If the item has an automatic mark-down price, or an automatic coupon code they will be eligible for Cashback.
If the item has a coupon code that needs to be manually added, this will void any eligible Cashback.

Amazon takes up to 4 days to track.
I find that it typically tracks once Amazon confirms fulfilment.

                              Cheers!

                          • -3

@gotyourback: So OP saying those categories 20% off when its should be : only items with automatically applied code/coupon in those categories .

Which frankly I can't find any in toys and I'll be saving my $$$$$$$$$ .
BTW nice tricky play by you guys .

                      • @gotyourback: Rep,
placed order that had the prime $10 savings auto applied, but received Shopback tracking email "Your latest transaction" stating zero cashback. What do you make of this?

                        • @chyawala: Hey, I've just been notified about an error in the Amazon rate setup.

Our team is fixing this as we speak.

I apologise on behalf of the team for this error.
We'll get this fixed up asap.

              • @gotyourback: How to know if the product is under Lawn & Gardening? I can see Home Improvement 0% but Lawn & Gardening is 20%.

              • @gotyourback: What about amazon changing category later on after we order. Lego Bonsai was under toys & games and I pasted the details above (providing below once again). How much cashback will I get. Didn’t know that this will happen else would have taken a snapshot.
