    I've just been notified about an error in the Amazon rate setup.

    Question on Amazon: If I click on a product, how can I tell EXACTLY what category it's classed under?
    I ask because I'm going into Garden department and doing a search. When I click on the item I am after it doesn't show a category.

      • See, this is where it's really confusing.
        One item I was just looking at was found through the Garden dept. I click on the item and it now shows under All in the top left. Although the seller is listed as 9070 in Garden and 72 in Patio Furniture. So which is it, Garden, Furniture, or just a general All???
        Edit: Let's say this item for example. Or this I was looking at. 🤷‍♂

  • After hearing that many people got a 0% cashback I attempted to cancel my order but it was too late as it had already been processed. Would attempting to cancel an order nullify a cashback? (note that the cancellation was declined by Amazon)

    • If it wasn't cancelled, then your cashback should remain the same.
      As mentioned earlier, our team have fixed this.
      Customers should see the correct cashback rate once our system re-syncs in the morning.

  • Spent $180 on board games earlier this morning but haven't received any tracking notification from Shopback yet. The tracking email usually arrives pretty quickly, but it's been over 12 hours now and nothing.

    The jack up in prices is equivalent of the previous price before this promotion. First time I see something like that on Amazon… Most of Lego sets in my basket jacked up by 15% to e more….

  • For me cashback for apparel was 6% instead of 20%. I recommend that you double check it has tracked properly for you.

  • I have an issue with an order I did last night. I clicked through the shopback app which opened my Amazon app. I added items to cart. I completed order and in the shopback app there is nothing about this order. Does it take that long to track. Others seem to have tracked pretty quick.

    Mine appears to have just been fixed now. It's reflecting the 20% cashback that I bought from lawn/gardening

    Mine still hasn’t updated to reflect correct cash back. I held back on purchases yesterday due to this error and uncertainty. With the rep consider re-running this promotion again?

    My LEGO purchase is now tracking correctly as 20% and I used an automatic $5 credit applied by Amazon at checkout from a previous gift card promotion.

    Does anyone have a list that shows which category is eligible for the 20% cashback, as I am not aware that only certain types of products are eligible for the cashback? So if the product is not on the list, I would cancel my order.

      • Thanks, I will do that if it does not track by tomorrow. When I check on Shopback it says Amazon purchases can take up to 4 days to track. The 4 days will be tomorrow.

  • Made two separate purchases and reactivated each time on the app and both still haven't tracked yet. Should I report through the app?

    • My purchases still didn't track, so I reported via the Shopback website. My purchases are now listed as pending with the amount listed as 'calculating'. It says that the order is being validated by Amazon Australia and will be confirmed by 3rd March. I'm still not confident that I will receive any cashback though as my normal Amazon transaction track very quickly.

      • We shouldn't have to go to that level of effort. If the click was tracked, but not the transaction, they should pay it off. Especially when they know they stuffed up in the first place. Don't give me that BS Amazon refused to pay.

  • Received an email from Shopback saying my cash back is not being credited. All the reasons listed were not valid. I never have these issues with Cash Rewards, only with ShopBack.
