  • Would these be useful for loud settings like a bus or the gym? :)

    • I have been using them in the gym. Just lost a pair, so just bought them again on this deal.

  • Very happy with Edifer W820BT the one I bought from this deal.

Noted that it runs with BT4.1

That's a bit old tech. BT5.2 is the latest now.

      • +1

        micro usb

        and no anc

        = pass

plus side it is Aptx but that's not enough in this day and age

        • Yeah you might pass.

Especially considering that BT4.1 is a tech coming from the year 2013.

You better make sure that your device supports BT4.1 too.

@hollykryten: doesnt everything that's remotely usable support bt4.1?

  • $59.50 after 50% off for BT4? Really? For the half of that price get Baseus Encok D02 pro like in this deal with BT5. The currently ar a bit dearer and have black ones too.

    • These ones have a 95 hour battery.

  • This has ANC compared to Baseus Encok D02 pro and also a bit better build quality/finish may be. But the main problem is this has Micro-USB charging port. So no no no in 2021.

      I really don't know why Micro-USB is a problem/

      • When your laptops, phones, earbuds, ereader, tablets soldering iron, mirrorless camera, video rgb lights, tablets, hair trimmer, tyre inflator, keyboard, air blower, oscilloscope, powerbank, power supply, component tester can all be used using the universal type-c cable and charger then getting some unicorn like this doesn't make any sense, isn't it? I even started converting all my old diy gadgets to use type-c.

      • +1

        It's not.

        • May not be for many. But it is now a big itch to find a working cable among all this mess for me and I think it will be for many too in near future and can avoid that certainly by exercizing some due diligence in our purchases today. I don't think Edifier or any company is going to release a new model of anything with obsolete micro usb again.

So if it not bothering you then certainly go for it and if not get something with usb type-c, you know the one which can be plugged both ways :)

deals on the speakers please :)

  • Anyone else getting ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR? Seems their SSL certificate is invalid.

Edit: Apparently this is a scam website: https://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/

    • How is this a scam website. It belongs to Edifer which is one of the biggest audio companies.

Also i'm getting no SSL error through Firefox nor is Kaspersky complaining either. It's saying that the connection is verified by AO Kaspersky Lab.

I think your Trend Micro is being totally paranoid. Shows how stupid your site safety web site is if it thinks that the Edifer web site is a scam site.

    • @CarbonTwelve Not a scam.
