  • This is an update? So you need the original game?

    • +2

      from the amazon page:
'This is base game and all updates/expansions up to Beyond. All other updates and expansions after are free downloads.'

    • +5

No. Its the entire game, they just re-released it as 'Beyond' when they made the update.
If you have the original game, you can download the update and it will be the same as this

      Bit confusing I agree.

Well worth it for this price!

I have put many hours into this on Gamepass.

  • Is this multiplayer?

    • Yep! See ya on the Space Anomaly 🌌

You can visit your friends in the game, and attempt group missions together etc. However you cant build together atm (though can visit each others houses or capital ships).

Ugh, been wanting to play this for a while, but my pile of shame is already quite large…

    • Likewise. How do we cope?

      • +1

        That's what holidays are for.

      • +3

Pick the non-grindy games, don't do thorough exploration, focus on main quest. If you start a Far Cry type game, don't bother collecting all the shit, do the main story and move on.

Knock out a game every few gaming days. Don't play the shit ones, time is too precious.

        • Amen!

        • +5

I'm the total opposite, if I find a game I love…i'd rather spend 2-3 months playing it exclusively and try to complete 90-100% of the game before I move on to the next one.

I find I get into/enjoy the game more than if I was chopping and changing which game I played every few days and never end up completing anything.

          • @tritorius: I know what you mean, but that doesn't help reduce the pile of shame much.

          • @tritorius: Exactly! It’s like do I start a new one, or do I continue in my quest to 100% RDR2, which is easily one of my favourite games ever.

Are you taking these “pile of shame” comments seriously? Pls don’t.

this game in VR is gr8

Tempted to buy this, unsure if i'll play it tho! :

  • Impressive forward thinking game but it didn't hook me. I found it a bit slow. Highly recommend others give it a try. I think it's a game you'll pick up every now and again at the least.

  • It's an interesting game, I'll give them that, I got a used copy for $9 on PS4 and it paches all the way up on PS5. It's a bit addictive if you've never been into the mining / harvesting gameplay tho. I'm glad I stopped, it was an endless loop

Mine more, for better stuff, to travel further and mine faster, to get better stuff which allows you to mine more and travel f……. and so on.

Wish the storyline was a little deeper, they did add one tho
