  • Got one for $32 in november. Pick up another one, and a random $5 promo discount got added to it. So $14, thanks OP

    • Did this improve the internet speed?

      • I got it for a pc that I was too lazy to run cables to lol. Also wasn't something that needed blistering speeds, just needs an internet connection.

[edit] Also useful if you have to bring a pc from work/parents/random to fix. Saves you needing to run a cable.

      • If you get it make sure you grab the latest driver from Asus. Big difference in upload speed on my PC….

    • I think it was the black friday $100 gift card bonus $5 credit

  • Bought one off Aliexpress for $6. (admittedly its generic)
    Bargain

    • PM a link please?

      • -1

        Just search aliexpress
        Theres thousands

        • Cant find the one which is AC1200 with dual band below US $10

          • -3

            @arctan: Please don't be lazy
literally 2 seconds and the third one in the list…
            here

            • @Drakesy: That's for the 150Mbps model…

              • -3

@Void: Still cheaper than the deal
And when it comes to the internet (Australia's NBN) it's not like you'll be needing anything faster than 150Mbps, although $15 for the 1200AC version will more than likely be enough.

Else there is this one which is 1200AC

                • @Drakesy: I'd pay $4 to have it fast from Amazon and be from a reputable brand and seller.

                  • -2

                    @Void: That's your call.
But the ASUS one is literally a branded version of what's sold on Aliexpress.
                    Just read the reveiws.

            • +1

@Drakesy: I saw this one but its US 10 plus 1.61 shipping fee. Trying to find the one for $6 with AC1200 dual band is challenging.

  • looks like oos

  • OOS already? Can't find stock from Amazon AU anymore.

  • $31.50 for me

  • Yeah, looks like it was a price error for a few minutes according to camel cubed. Up to $31.50 now.

  • Bought it for$19 during the black Friday sale.

  • Pretty sure all of the nano sized WiFi sticks use the same chipset, which only has a USB 2 interface.

  • +1

Showing up as $19 again, bought one, thanks OP

  • Hmmm this or GL.iNet GL-USB150 Wireless Mini Portable VPN Travel Router (Microuter) $16.45 (50% Off)

  • This is back at $19

    • Anything like this that includes blutooth 5 ?

  • Got this recently to replace existing wifi and lan on laptop because of driver issues and unstable downloads. Laptop wifi can reach 42mb/s speeds but this dongle can only download at 15mb/s. Pretty disappointing.

    • what kind internet do you use? my NBN max download speed is only 5m/s

      • Telstra 5G home internet.
