  • I've received the new phone I ordered, but have not received any info regarding the trade in (no emails, nothing in the package, …)?
    Am I missing something, or where can I find the shipping details? I suppose it's unlikely they'll forget about me and let me keep the phone and not chargeback the trade-in value?

    • Try their online chat, see if you can get an answer there maybe?

      Can you tell what comes in the box? Just wondering if it comes with a pre-installed screen protector and/or case..

        these phones do have a screen protector on it..

            @Schikitar: note : there is actually two protectors on it..

            the first is the transparent film one you can peel off (you can keep that on if you want extra protection)
            and there is actually the real screen protector underneath that one.
            but you wouldn't know it since it feels like bare glass

            If you keep the transparent film on, then that can protect the actual screen protector as well
            since it can easily get scratch

            Also the phone package is very basic nowadays..
            so don't expect any extra stuff

            • @pinkybrain: Yeah I wasn't expecting any other accessories, it was just the screen protector and maybe a cheap silicon case I thought they might bundle (like they did with my S20+), anyway that's all good I'll shop around for a case.. cheers!

          No charger, no earphones, no case. It does have a screen protector pre-applied.

      Trade in is managed by Asurion, so you'll need to contact them. The email normally comes a few days after delivery is confirmed

    • Have you heard anything from Asurion? Likewise, I received my phone, but the instructions to send back my trade-in phone never arrived.

      • Yes, I received the email yesterday (about a week after delivery).

    Cancelling the cc used for $1 assurance and made a purchase with the same cc after new phone receival?

    • In a previous iteration of this deal, I was charged just the trade in value. They send about 3 or 4 reminders to send it in. Eventually the amount was charged to the cc about 2 months later.

  • Out of stock now :( Looks kinda like the 256gb silver is in stock, but might be a site error

  • Has anyone been able to get the newsletter $50 coupon? I've tried gmail and outlook emails and haven't received anything.

    • I waited a week and nothing. Emailed [email protected] and they sent me one in a few hours

    • I used a yahoo account earlier this week, was able to get it within 1-2hrs.

  • Got my s21+ delivered yesterday. Does anyone know how to send the old phone back? Are they supposed to send an email with instructions on how to send it?

  • I have Iphone 8, 128gb, model MX152X/A, it does not work for trade-up program(device is ineligible for trade-up) but Samsung web page the device is eligible. Do you know what might be a problem? Phone shares apple store account with ipad

  • All models are back in stock, except they don't discountshave the full and max trade ins. I'm expecting that to change in the next week or so, so get your stackable coupons ready!

        For what it's worth, I contacted support and all they would say about the S21+ was that the promotional discount of $500 had ended. They couldn't tell me if it would be reinstated, etc.

    • Track your delivery. It may not have been marked as delivered, hence no email sent to send trade in phone back.

  • Ordered 22/12 received 09/01. received trade-in email today with 7 days to send in old phone.

  • For those that are still wondering, Asurion appears to now be enforcing the $60 admin fee on top of the trade-in value if you fail to return your device. I used a debit card which only has the trade-in value amount so will see what happens if Asurion tries to charge the additional $60.

    • I was charged $60 yesterday as well. Its definitely happening… I think they have just been backlogged with requests or lack of staff to process them in late December.

      • Can I ask what did it get called on your CC statement? I'm looking through mine and can't see any since December for ASURION… even the $1 holds are gone. Not sure what's happening!
