[PC] Red Dead Redemption II $30.95 ($15.95 with GTA Trilogy DE offer) @ Rockstar Games

150

It's slightly cheaper to buy from the epic game store with their $15 coupon offer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/672147

However, if you were unfortunate to buy the GTA Definitive edition trilogy you can use your $10 coupon (Appears to be $15 Aud) to get this down to $15.95

Honestly, with the recent patches it's not too bad for GTA 3, not a bad nostalgia hit, but a lot of the models in San Andrea are terrible.

I think most people are disappointed it's just it seems like a poor attempt at increasing the texture & model quality with no real effort to re-imagine these closer to today's capabilities/standards.

      • I agree, watching Youtube videos it looked horrendous at launch. I think by patch 1.03 they all look much better, but still hardly a decent remaster.

  • is it A$29.97 on epic store with the -$15.00

    • As stated in the description it is cheaper from the epic store, this is mostly for the people that have the $10 discount for the rock star store from buying the GTA DE Trilogy

As the OP of the Epic RDR2 post, I have to say your deal is better! $1 extra to avoid a second DRM is 100% worth it IMO. I already have it on Steam so didn't actually buy it on Epic, but my understanding of Epic Games is that in order to launch the game you have to do so through the Epic launcher which will open the Rockstar launcher which will open the game. Which is nasty.

  • or for a bit more you can get both XBOX and PC.

  • Just tried to purchase it, turns out the $10 vouch is actually $15 AUD.

$16aud to RDR2 is not bad
