BOXING21

Applies to entire store, including the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro cases, which were excluded last time. Only thing that won't be discounted is the express shipping.

My go-to case is the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, which I currently have on my Pixel 6 Pro, and have had on every phone I've had since the HTC 10 days (remember HTC?!)

Spigen is my only go to for case. Very well built & precise

    • Agreed. I always buy Spigen from this mob.

      • I never thought it was possible, but on my pixel the buttons actually feel better with the case on

Remember HTC? Remember HTC?! I remember the days before smartphones… how did humanity cope?! We must have been a horde of mindless zombies aimlessly wandering the streets, lost without that killer app to guide our destinies… oh wait, no that’s today. Sorry, I get confused sometimes…

I'm more of Nokia 3310 era haha..

  • Looks like rich people's gadget shopping store..!

I’ve got some news for you… by global standards, Oz is inside the country club

  • I have the Spiegen MagSafe car charger/vent mount, pricy but very impressed with it.

Spigen is the only brand of case I buy anymore. Durability is just far far superior.

When I look at my friends $60 Apple cases turning to shreds after 12 months and my Spigen looks brand new still…..

Pro gadgets are awesome too BTW.

Any discount code for their eBay store?

    • +1

      Not that I could see

    • Yes… 10% off most items… Boxing day sale… This worked for me not long ago on their eBay store

      BD10OFF

      • Not on this store's items though.

        • What do you mean? I bought on their eBay store a screen protector with free delivery, used the eBay code and got 10% off. Then I saw this post and got the same item again through their online shop with 20% off, then I cancelled the eBay purchase. Saved another $10.

          • @Logical: Fair enough. Thanks for confirming. Generally eBay has a "Take 10% off this item" mention with "Show me how" explanation that shows the specific coupon code on each listing page which is eligible for it. I couldn't find this on ProGadgets' products pages so I thought that they may not be eligible for this code. Plus it also says "$100 min spend" on here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/674084

  • Doesn't work on galaxy z fold 3 cases

    • Did you apply the coupon code? Seems to work for me once I apply the code.

Which screen protector would you guys recommend? For the Google Pixel 6 Pro. I've got a case but havent found a screen protector yet, I keep hearing that most screen protectors will mess up the fingerprint scanner.

    • I went with a custom one from a mobile phone accessory shop

    • I am currently using Spigen Neo Flex, though it may not look as good as tempered glass but it does a good job.

Anyone got a car phone holder that they highly recommend from this mob?

    • +1

      following

    • The Spigen magnetic car vent mount works really well, snaps on to a metal plate you keep between your case and phone. Only thing to note is vent placement in your car so YMMV with viewing angles.

Be aware that this company provides absolutely rubbish after sale support, if you have an issue they will make stuff up and then when provided with evidence they just stop replying

    • Thanks for the heads up, mate. Always better to be careful than sorry.

    • +1

I personally found their email support to be fine but I haven't had to do any major claims or anything.

  • Tried it on a Macbook Pro 14" case and the discount looked to be a bit less circa 8%? https://www.progadgets.com.au/techprotectus-macbook-pro-14-inch-(2021)-colorlife-hardshell-2894884

    • Did you apply the coupon code?

      • Yep, it dropped down to $36.

        • Mine dropped to $31.99? Don’t know why yours is $36.

          • +1

            @kerfuffle: My mistake.

The case is $39.99. It drops down to $36.79 at the top, but then another $8 discount is applied at the bottom to make it $28.79 total. How odd, but this make it even cheaper. Maybe because I had a VIP status from before.

  • They also have the MagSafe plate which converts your non-MagSafe phone into one, including Androids

    • I think that's just a metal plate without magnets in it. There are plates like what you talk about, but don't think this is one.

      See this item:
Sinjimoru Magnetic Sticker for All Smartphones & iPhone Series: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0989K3P3M/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…

      • Why would you stick a metal plate onto your phone if not MagSafe?

        • That's what my reply is saying. The item you pointed at is only for Iphones with magsafe to put on a case to extend the magsafe strength. You'll need something like the one I linked if you wanted to add magsafe :)

          • @frogduck: The one I linked also adds MagSafe to any phone, not just iPhones … It just uses an alignment kit so that it's not off centre.

            • @kerfuffle: Ah, yes my bad! From the description it just rounds like a metal ring, but reviews are saying it's magnetic.

  • All these cases look the same with different names and prices for the Galaxy S20. Can someone pls tell me which one is the best:

Will all these cases also fit the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G?

    • +1

I'd recommend typing in Samsung Galaxy S20 FE into the search box to get cases for your phone rather than drilling down by category.

      e.g.

      • +1

Thanks, looks likes that's the only case available when searching for S20 FE.
This one is $27, are they really that much better than the clear plastic cases you get on Ebay for $5-10. I guess they don't yellow with age and probably have more shock absorbing ability?

        • I can't say as I don't buy the clear plastic ones from eBay … only Spigen.

  • Thanks got myself a Spigen Liquid Air which I previously owned for the Pixel 5
