Good price for local stock, can probably get Sony to price match and to claim $100 cashback from Cashrewards (currently 2% excluding GST).

I don't recall the A9 was ever part of any Sony cashback, can someone confirm, please?

Would be nice to coincide with Amex cashback, but not at the moment.

Not worth it, just get the original a9 for less, it is essential the same camera.

  The Mark 1 is also 5 grand. The locking dials on Mark II is quite important I reckon, so many times I took the camera out for a quick shot EV was at wrong setting.

      That's a good deal, the lowest I have seen Mark 1 was around $4,300, that was soon after Mark 2 was released. It was almost the same price as A7R4 at the time, that's why I remember.
