    Shouldn't it come in a 3 pack?

  • Anyone who bought, is it interchangable? i mean, either can work as router? or only 1 is router and the other as satellite? Pls advise. Tnx

    • my undertanding is neither can work as a router. I have the triple units linked to my Lyra Voice, and AC-DSL68u. The Lyra work as wifi extenenders only, either via direct Cat 5/6 or wifi connection, all using Asus' AiMesh system.

Edit - I was wrong in my terminology, neither can wok as a modem… they can work as a router, or wifi extender.

I bought this pack on previous deal, using WITH router ASUS RT-AX55 . Works like a charm, although I had to google how to set up them. I have router in garage, one Lira in living room connected to router by cable - and it is spreading the wifi around, and another Lira on second floor, connected by wifi to first one, and spreading wifi with boosted signal.
Not sure if you can use Lyra as router, without actual router in the system.

    • By default the Lyra is a router. If you need to you can configure Lyra as Wi-Fi access points.

  • Asus routers are usually superior enough to cover a wide range of a typical house so I'm wondering…why mesh?

  • Is it wifi6?

    • Unfortunately not. WiFi 5

    Comes with ironing board

    • Loll I thought it was an iron deal for a second… Thought why does anyone need two..then read the title hehe

        Defib paddles

  • Can I use this with a TP router? Eat to maximise the wifi signal at mums 2 storey house.

I assume straight forward, just put the settings in these mesh devices and interlinks with the main TP router to boost wifi within the house?

  • Bugger. Would Amazon refund / credit the $7 difference?

    • It's worth asking on live chat.

    • Nope buy again and return on old purchase not worth trying ask they will denied

That's only a 1 pack? This deal is for 2.

      • Oops. Good pick up. I didn't think they'd sell Mesh units as 1-packs, and saw 2 in the photo. Will correct.

        • I guess that's for people who already have 2 and want an extra 1.

          • @hamza23: Just found out I can't correct my previous post.
            You were quick to respond!
            Thanks for the correction.

  • Will this be good for AI-Mesh with Asus RT-AC68U on Merlin firmware ?

    • +1

Not sure what Merlin is. But I've got the same router and this twin pack is working well so far.
Connected via LAN and giving me solid full bar coverage at home.

Yep. I’ve got this setup. Works like a charm. Was an easy setup.
