[QLD] Toll-Free Travel in Both Directions for NYE @ Brisbane Go-between Bridge

120

We're creating more to see and do across the city this New Year's Eve with a fireworks display along the Brisbane River. The Lord Mayor’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks will light up the river at South Bank for the city’s official New Year’s Eve celebration.

There will be two fireworks shows - one at 8.30pm for families and one at midnight for late-night revellers welcoming in the New Year in style.

To help with the movement of traffic, Council will waive tolls on the Go Between Bridge between 6pm on Friday 31 December to 2am on Saturday 1 January 2022.

The ONLY time I'd ever considing using this bridge tbh

  • Do you need a buzzer thing? I have a vague memory last time something like this was on they charge the video analysis fee and normal fee if you don't have a buzzer

    • No idea, but you'd think they would just switch the toll stuff off for the night if they wanted to just make it free eh..

      • That would make logical sense now…
