How to purchase and activate your plan

Add the Catch Connect Prepaid plan to your cart and complete check out.

    Is this similar to boost which uses Telstra which probably is as good as having Telstra not that I have used Telstra before, but I find coverage good boost.

    Wife and I have a second phone we might want to set up and rather than using the same sim and swapping back and forth might be better with another plan.

    Not only that our optus phones might be locked anyway if it is would this qualify for a free unlocking or is this normally just if direct with optus.

    I think coles optus has a deal for $150 for $119 which im sure offers overseas calls I believe this does not correct.
    This is a good bit cheaper though and what’s the difference on this deal compared to the catch connect one which is same price

    It's a good deal but no VOLTE & VOWIFI

    If you have average reception and require the above services.

    As far as I know, Circle Mobile and Boost are the only Optus and Telstra resellers to offer VOLTE & VOWIFI

        VoLTE uses 4G to make calls resulting in better voice quality and less echo.
        VoWifi uses wifi to make calls so if you have bad reception you can still make calls.

        Moose Mobile and Gomo also have VoLTE and Wifi calling

    What if they fail to provide you with the sim by 18/1 as that’s the date I think for extra gb applies, yes they allow 30 days to pick your plan that’s ok if it arrives in good time and not lost in post etc.

      Get on chat to confirm, I think u can activate after 30days and still be on the same plan. That's what customer service told me last time.

      The 30 day clock starts from the date you receive the SIM. I bought from the previous catch connect deal of 365 day/240GB for $109 only a day before that deal was going to expire and only activated my SIM 2 days ago (29 days after having received the SIM) with no problem, and the 240GB showed up on my account as well (originally the SIM plan only gives 120GB but the deal included double data (ie 240GB)).

        I don't think so from personal experience but I may be wrong. Catch used to have great reception and suddenly noticed drop in data speeds etc. Amaysim and optus both give better speeds in the same area so I can only presume catch are inferior

      some targeted like spend $60 get $15, also check under your account's promotion, some time it will show up $10 off. Also the Gift card if you grab one during X'mas about 15% off or something.

    i'm halfway through this deal and while i'm finding catch/optus reception for my area is significantly improved over my previous vodafone mvno, i really do miss visual voicemail and itemised call/txt history.

    Please note catch connect no longer offers global roaming (not even as an add on) so if you will not be able to receive SMS overseas (eg for OTP authentication etc) .

        I think Aldi also provide roaming, telstra network.
