  • I like my one, it's a good mouse!

  • +5

So happy I got this for the $60 or whatever from catch the other week. Solid mouse. Have had zero lag (and I have lots of shit 2.4ghz interference) and haven't had to charge it yet.

    • +2

ye that was a ripper deal, ofcourse my new kitten decides to wreck by 10 year old g9x the week after that deal…

Now I'm just hoping it will get under $100 sometime so I can replace it.

    • Yeah, I was lucky enough to grab that deal. It's a good mouse, but I've found it's pretty light compared to the wired version, even with all the additional weights in.

    • +1

Any ideas when they would have more deals like this again ?

      • Nope completely random

        • No way is it random…

    • Have had zero lag

I find it does lag when I try and comment in 4 or more simultaneous threads on OzBargain…

  • Great mouse for gaming. Ten bucks cheaper than what I paid about 2-3 months ago.

99.99% of gamers aren't pro gamers. This mouse is excellent for gamers.

Maybe you should re evaluate your stance. And if you're not convinced even after watching this video, then I'd ask you to provide proof contrary to your beliefs.

Thanks for the link. The link shows only clicking, it doesn't consider mouse movement. And also the fact that Wired mouse proved to have shortest latency, that's all I got out from the video. When you lose in game, think about getting a wired mouse.

        • +6

You can connect it through the cable. So when you play your professional esports against shroud, you can connect it up. Then, when you're back on planet earth for 99.99% of other tasks, you can have the convenience we all enjoy.

    • Brain-dead take and the exact reason your shit at games

    • Even wireless this mouse has less delay than most other mice at 12ms. Also you can use it wired to reduce the delay even further to 10ms.

Great mouse up until the double click issue plays up. Caveat emptor on this one that the switches are known to faill. I use this as a daily driver and love it now after replacing the standard Omron switches with Kailh. If you're not big on tinkering and intend to game I'd personally stay away from this one due to how common the switch failure is.

    • +1

I get this issue with mine too, but the problem never stays permanently and goes away after awhile for some reason.

To get around it when it is playing up, I use an app called FixMouseLMB found here: https://softfamous.com/left-mouse-button-fix/

It doesn't even need to install, just run it in the background when you start windows and it will block the unwanted double clicks as they occur. I will eventually forget to run it one day and then notice that I haven't been getting double clicks again as the mouse has sorted itself out.

I basically rinse and repeat this process when it occurs, but strangely enough the time between the issue occuring is getting longer inbetween. I haven't had to run the app for almost a year now. Before that it was probably 6 months.

  • Pretty bogged mouse for gaming unless you NEED the buttons otherwise so many better options

  • +1

You WILL get issues with the clickers.. buy replacements right away.

  • +1

Have had this for years, and never had an issue.
By far the best mouse for work and gaming I've ever used.

  • Had this for a few months and then started developing issues - the left click would stick and cause a double click or not work at all.

    • +4

Although I've never had an issue with the 602 and I have had it for years, judging by the amount of people that had the click problems it seems to be an issue that I wouldn't want to risk spening so much on a mouse :(

  • I have no clue why the hell people are buying the G502 in 2022 for this much. This mouse isn't that great now with the advent of ergo-shape mice with better performance and lighter shells for less money.

If you don't need the buttons get the Basilisk X Hyperspeed.
Same style ergo shape, clicks that don't go after three months, slightly lighter (100g with battery instead of 114) and runs you $65 instead of like $140.

Some people hate light mouses… 130gr is still way too light for me.
Some people like the free scrolling wheel.
Some people like the built in memory.

  • -2

For me, i will add 30 bucks and get a GPW instead

  • +1

found 1 cheaper on eBay FWIW

and if you're ebay plus member you get it for $115 delivered …

    • Damn that's pretty good, it seems like the listing has ended already though

  • Great mouse but it's a bit heavy compared to the current generation of gaming mice.

    • +2

Some people can handle an extra 10grs without breaking a sweat…

  • -1

It is heavy, but it has a side scrolling wheel, as well as 3 thumb buttons and programmable dpi buttons. There's no other mouse lighter than this that has all the features. All the super light ones don't have those features, which make them lighter. For me, the 3rd thumb button as well as the side scrolling wheel is a must, and so this is a good compromise.

    • +2

Yeah, a lot of mouses have the buttons but no side scroll or vice versus, none have the complete package like the G502

  • Would love wireless but hard to justify paying $137 for it when i already have the wired g502

  • i shouldve gotten the wired version from JBHiFi boxing day sale at $77.
still using my Razer Naga 2014 as my daily

    • the wireless one was $55 on boxing day

  • Such a good mouse! I’ve been using for 2 years with no clock issues people are talking about

  • If u buy from Amazon there is another seller price it at 89.9
