  • Cheers. Grabbed one. Had the Baseus version which was great and super handy, but the hose started leaking pretty quickly and I gave up trying to find a replacement.

  • OOS :(

This is also an affiliated product so eligible for cashback, although it's an extra $2.50 - Make sure to select Air pump 1s CN

Awesome pump. Had mine for a few years now. Great for the weekly pump of the road bike and a flat car tire on the odd occasion. High quality device.

    • This specific model for a few years? What are some pros and cons about this unit, now that you've had it for a long time?

      • +5

I have the 1 which is mini-usb, the 1S is USB-C and has a slightly larger flow rate.

        Pros
        - Extremely portable
        - Relatively quiet compared to other pumps
        - Can do up to 120psi so good for road bikes
        - Battery seems to last ages
        - Has a built in LED lamp. Very handy when it’s dark

        Cons
        - Slow to fill a car tire
        - That’s it?

I love mine. If I lost it I’d buy another in an instant.

        • I've heard a lot of comments saying that it doesn't pump up bike tyres well. Do you pump them up to 120 often?

          • +1

@witsa: I used to pump up to 110psi all the time without issue. I say 120 because I think that’s what it’s rated too.

I run 95psi now on 28mm every week and this pumps without any issue.

        • It seems they doubled the flow rate, so it should reduce inflating time by half.

          • @Mistredo: Correct I wasn't sure if it was double but it is a significant bump up.

        • Just used mine (1S) last night for the first time. It is surprisingly loud! Took quite a while to fill up 1 psi on my car tire. I'll try that on my road bike tire tonight. I'm running tubeless at around 70 psi so hopefully it won't take that long.

          • @thedirtywest: Compared to some of the other dedicated AC pumps it's pretty quiet :-) But I do agree it just doesn't have the flow rate of a dedicated pump. Great for bike tires though, it should fill it up pretty quick.

    • I can’t seem to pump a road bike tire up with it, it’s like it leaks air after putting the road bike valve extension on, have to resort to a manual pump. Other than that it works great

      • You have the 1 or 1s?

      • Sounds like you may need to screw both ends of the hose in properly. At the base of the unit and also at the adapter end.

  • What is the difference between a CN version and a global version?

    • +1

The instructions or manual are in English with the global version other than that they're the same.

  • Is this more for tires and bikes etc or is there any practical ability to pump up standard basketballs and other sporting balls? Namely after a basketball pump

    • +1

Perfect for inflating basketballs, an inflation needle is included with the air pump.

    • +1

It has a basketball mode on it and comes with the needle

  • Rarely use this on bikes - good floor pump is soooo much faster + silent. Handy for car, as you get accurate measurement while tyres are cold at home.
