And its gone. Lucky friends mate!

  • Dude thank you! Every shop around me is OOS, grabbed a box :D

  • +1

thx - got one this time

    relatively expensive but I don't need 20 of them….

    • +1

Yeah…it irks me to pay this when I saw them much cheaper before the craziness started. It's worth not spending all day waiting in a PCR testing queue though.

      • I know the feeling. I picked up a box of 7 for $43.20( $6.10) each in December. I've seen the same box sold for $95 recently.

        • +1

Not for Panbio, they have always been more expensive

      • Not really since people are doing rat tests you're waiting around half an hour. Did it Yesterday.

  • Wonder how long until Amazon is OOS again.

5 mins and almost 300 clicks, but only 12+ votes

  • Got one thanks!

  • +5

Thanks OP got some finally, not to bad price around $13 a test, not the best not the worst

  • Thanks, bought one

  • +5

dont tell scomo or he'll buy them all

    • This. Wondering what he's gonna do with all the stock he bought shortcuting all existing retail orders. $15 a pop that's crazy.

  • Got one as well, cheers.

  • +9

As someone else has already mentioned, these 20pc kits were selling at Changi airport in Singapore for around $90… if you're travelling to/transiting there or know someone who will be, get them to buy some.

  • Thanks

  • +1

    Got one

  • Cheers got one

  • +40

Should be free. What a joke that you have to pay.

      • -4

I'll be using my mother in laws concession thanks.

        • +2

          Comment still stands however

      • +11

Paying a fraction of the cost per test, and having them when you need them, and regardless of your circumstances.

Good luck when you start economics 102.

      • We are all living off the dole mate

    • +2

Exactly right. Our tax paid to gov funding their holidays but not essentials like this for daily living and covid. It's BS really.

They say personal responsibility. Well I also say it's a personal responsibility that I do not pay tax.

      • -6

I don’t understand the fuss around spending $10 for your own health. Who said the government, through our taxes, should pay for essentials? Should they also pay for your toothpaste too?

        • +5

For godsake, it's a once in a hundred year pandemic this is a public health issue it's not like you get funded for condoms daily

          You have it wrong

          • -4

@neonlight: Again I don't understand the logic. What's the fuss about spending $10 for your own health? Don't you have any savings and do you completely rely on the government? If they gave it for free, I understand the logic behind it and I support it. But I don't understand why people are complaining so much about a few dollars. This sense of entitlement is completely absurd.

    • I refuse to buy them. Will be going to my local drive in for a PCR… This Govt is just ridiculous

    • +12

err, it's Amazon, their sever won't get jammed (try them) it's been up for over 10 minutes…..

    • +11

      server get jammed

The server for the world's biggest ecommerce website gets jammed … Because of a RAT test listing?

let people find what they wanted instead of selling out product

      Lol what?

      • +4

M… LNP didn't build or isnt running their server, so shouldnt be a problem.

    • +1

I dont get your comment… its still available.

      ???

    • +1

I appreciate these RAT posts. Just ordered two of these kits. Would never have been able to if it weren't posted. Thanks OP.

    • 20 minutes in, still in stock…. lol

    • +2

You know how hard to get one if you really want one for some people. You could just not click on these deals. Move on with your life peacefully :)

  • +1

    Got one :D

  • +3

Thanks to Scotty and Domenic can't afford it and can't find one in Sydney.

Let WA premier MrcGowan be the prime Minister.

    • +9

Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.

      • +10

That's how much of a joke Perrottet is. No one knows whether to laugh or cry at his incompetence.

        • +21

That's unfair. No-one could have predicted that shutting down PCR stations, while mandating RATS and removing most of the public health measures would have caused the virus to spread or demand for RATS to increase like we've seen.
The real problem is people not taking personal responsibility. Plus, Bill Shorten and Joe Biden need to take their share of the blame. /s

        • its because of his "Let it rip" attitude, therefore Perrottet should pay for the RATs

    • +6

Dominic is a f#$kw#t. As we know. The virus should be called Domicron in relation to his let it rip tactic and delta+omicron

    • A lot of people are pretty hurt by him moving those goal posts. 94% are double vaxxed and now he wants us to be 90% booster. I won't be voting for Mcgowan next election.

      • -1

you should move to NSW then …. worry if your child coming back from school with covid or not,run around to get RAT and not find one, run around to get PCR done and make life worst by waiting in car for hours, don't go to GP because of high chances of catching covid and importantly delay your surgery because of covid great NSW leader has postponed all elective surgeries, ohh i forgot to that keep your child at home and not in playground to make sure they don't catch it, off coles & woolworths shelves are empty to run around shops to get what you need…. !

Be the nurse & doctor of Westmead hospital who looks after covid patients… and hope you love not to vote McGowan.

Yes, even though living in same city don't see your elderly parents because they might catch it from you… but hey what you know who lives in WA?

  • Got one. Thanks. Hope you all do not really need one of these.

  • If not needed right away just wait till the Jan 25th, the market will be flooded with ppl selling the free ones.

    • Would you trust some rando selling you tests?

      • +1

And why would you buy them from random when you can get them for free?

        • +2

They won't be available for free to everyone.

      • Sure, why not?

        • You don't know how it's been stored or sourced.

          • +1

@ihfree: I guess that rules out pretty much everything for you then.

  • +3

Heads up that this is a Very High Sensitivity one as well, so it's at the better end of the available RAT tests.

  • +6

15 minutes still going strong. maybe scomo should place an order

    • *Jenny, Parliament, or a staffer while Scomo sits in a limo.

  • +2

Can the Oz producers follow the Germans and make high sensitivity ones instead of the lowest on the scale ?

  • +1

These are the ones QLD health are giving out. I was given one of these this morning

    • +2

which centre and how long was the wait?

      • Would also love to know!

      • Robina health precinct Gold Coast. Waited about 20 mins. We got the last ones at 930 yesterday. Only for close contacts with no symptoms. Apparently they have more stock at GCUH

        • Thanks a bunch 😊

  • Thank you OP! so hard to find in QLD right now

  • Thanks. Good to have a couple in the cupboard for peace of mind.

  • Managed to place an order. Thanks for sharing.

  • How is this still in stock?! How many do Amazon have?!

  • +8

Genuine question, why did so many people neg this deal, but not this one. Price-wise they are not much different. Is it because sold by Amazon?

    • people must like panbio a lot more ahah

    • +2

$16.45 versus $13.98 per test. Also next day delivery in most Metro areas with Prime.

    • Probably because it has a set delivery date in the near future - not just 'X days after dispatch'. That could be a month away.

    • Amazon is reliable and prime means I save $10.95 on shipping which that deal expects for similar shipping time

      • Have you shopped online with Super Pharmarcy before?

    • +1

$16 might be the breakpoint for most people.

      And of course, amazon prime.
And amazon postage is seen to some to be more reliable.

    • Exactly there's so much bias towards amazon here its ridiculous

      • +1

        Amazon delivers consistently, sadly.

You place an order, you get a reasonable delivery estimate which is accurate.

Other businesses, you're in the dark as to what is happening, there are delivery delays, etc.

With regard to RATs in particular, there's less time in less favorable conditions as they don't spend time as much time in trucks, warehouses, etc

  • +1

Thanks OP. Finally managed to get one before they are sold out.

  • +8

For those that one a single test but at a slightly higher price at $14.95 each https://www.amazon.com.au/Panbio-COVID-19-Antigen-Self-Test-…

It would be $14 each in a pack of four so only $0.95 more each test by buying a single test.

    • these are still available - or at least again

  • Daddy Bezos saves us again!

  • +1

I got one because I am more confident that Amazon will deliver the goods than some of the other websites

  • +2

Thanks OP. Finally managed to get one

  • maybe scomo cause give use Amazon to distribute the RATs for the concession holders
    at least they have stock
    are cheap
    and delivered fast

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

  • Finally OOS… 3000+ clicks later ain’t bad
They must of had a pallet in stock
