Great price for this smartwatch which was released globally only a couple of days ago (4th Jan 2022). This model is a perfect balance between the Venu 2S (42mm) and Venu 2 (45mm) and comes with a built-in microphone and a speaker, which is additional hardware not found on the other two models. Price everywhere including Amazon currently sitting at RRP $699.

Not available for store pickup but in my case shipping was only $5 for Melbourne metro delivery.

The Venu 2 Plus is perfect for both everyday wear and also as a full featured activity tracker and in my opinion is the perfect size as it will not look too overwhelming on an average sized wrist at 43mm diameter. Apparently graphics and animation effects have been improved on this model by integrating the GPU within the processor and battery life seems to be quite good as well.

      Even if you don't have one you can always walk into a GG store and ask them to price match GGC and this works most of the time. Taking a screenshot of GGC price such as this one with you would make your argument for a discount more convincing. Personally this has worked for me everytime.

          One time I tried this they did even better than GGC price that I showed. It was for a 3.5K Bosch oven and they dropped about $50 below GGC and threw in concierge and 3 years warranty for free.

              @eggs: If they are hesitating to match GGC drop a comment about your "friend" who has access to GGC whom you got this screenshot from and who is also willing to buy it for you at the reduced price ;) Works like a charm!

        Thanks for the recommendation. Went up to Good Guys Maribyrnong and the watch wasn't even on the shelf.
        Super helpful sales rep went to the back and found the only Garmin Venu 2 Pro and it was in black!

        Asked about GGC and he said likely not, especially at that price.
        He went to his manager and they gave it to me for $500.

      If you have NTEU membership, you can register a commercial account. Log in to the NTEU membership benefit page and click on the Good Guys banner.

    I just received the Venu 2s a few days ago and will contact Garmin for a return, so I can purchase the plus. The additional microphone and speaker will come in handy, and it's only just a little more than what I paid for the 2s.

    This kind of discount is so unbelievable.. hope the stuff is not some overseas knockoff model?? not really.. should be ok

      Only issue is the wait time as this doesn't mean Good Guys has stock in hand. Just like with their whitegoods and appliances this order could ship the next day or easily end up being a 8 week wait. If no shipping alert comes through within this week I might have to ring them and find out the ETA. I ordered on Sunday BTW.
